The Conservatives rode Justin to hard.
If they didn't have such a big lead over him months ago he wouldn't have stepped aside. His ego wouldn't let him.
I'll give it to the Liberals though..Brilliant comeback. Gerald Butts and the gang know how to run a candidate.
They didn't make the same mistakes that the Democrats did...They pivoted at the right time. Did the nomination process and called an election immediately when the iron was hot.
Carney looks and sounds the part but unless he's completely abandoned his core principles he'll be worse than Justin.
Get ready for four years of them blaming everything that is about to come on Trump.

Your best bet is to go homestead, with enough to cover the few hundred per year in property taxes and hope you can survive on your skills.
Because no matter where you go it's either a Liberal Democracy or an oligarchy that you ain't in. Where bribery, graft is even more common, the rule of law is bought far more frequently.
Seriously, go live overseas for awhile. Pick any four and go for 3-6 months. See how good we have it.

As an Ottawa area MP, it was an act of foolish hubris for PP to support the Canker Convoy. Now he's squandered the the Conservative Party's massive war chest by losing his seat. They would have been better off with Erin O'Toole.
The Liberals lost Vaughan and with it a majority government. I got it wrong, Michel Guglielmin won by a bigger vote spread in Woodbridge than Anne Roberts in King. It's essential that the CCP hold on to these ridings if it wants to form a future government. Carney missed a majority by two seats.

There are many places in the world where the tax burden is far, far lower if you can make a decent income on your own.
Canada is a tax farm - if you are successful when you add it all up (income, HST, property tax and the endless list of other taxes) you are likely paying 70% or more of your income to the state.
Did you know that if you buy a new house or condo in the GTA 30% of that is taxes and fees?
Sure there is corruption elsewhere but at least they leave you with enough to pay a few bribes here and there.

Well then, I guess you support the Covid ones too. The whole point of MNRA tech was to be able to develop vaccines quickly. And there was almost 20 years of research dating back to SARS, MERS to work with. I've had the shot every season and twice a year when it hit.
Between it and the flu shot, I was fine.
And I get mine mine from a clinic, or Shoppers. Not a parking lot.

Almost anywhere - the US, Mexico, Dubai, Singapore, many places in South America do not charge tax on foreign sourced income.
Imagine 10 years of work making even just 100k per year vs. being raped by the Canadian government to perform gender surgeries in Uganda.
