Very different X-axis on that chart.
You would need to match those to see how similar or different they are.

(And, of course, the definition of violent crime changed)
Its not the X-axis that's the question.
That chart shows crime declining over the time period mdo's chart shows increase.

I liked it near the end when candidates were able to ask each other questions and Carney asked Poilievre about his security clearance...beach ball question...Poilievre shut him down and used the opportunity to dismiss the narrative the Libs have been trying to peddle.

Thanks Carney!

This Chart is BS. Blanchet was arguably the best but has a 25% positive impression.

This poll is obviously biased and has little to do with debates.
Now you're sounding like a MAGA conspiracy theorist. I didn't hear you calling the POLLS nonsense when Pee Pee was up 20% against Justin. Did you hear any of us LIb supporters crying the polls were BS????

Delusional. Violent crime, home invasions, car theft are all way up since Trudeau took office. Liberal bail policies are such a joke that offenders are often out the same day.
Geeez, I thought it was provincial judges placing folks on bail, wow. Now, before you give me an answer, please have a read.

Feds handle the criminal code you dumb tard - even the government of Ontario is calling for bail reform:

First off, I'd be careful, as name-calling can get one banned. You're just lucky I don't report folks. Secondly, obviously, you didn't read what I provided, so as some will say, ignorance is bliss.

Remove bail availability for offenders charged with murder, terrorism, human trafficking, intimate partner violence,....

what can be more idiotic than holding without bail people accused by their spouses in [typically he said-she said] domestic situations? government of ontario can go fuck itself

Nah, the numbers have been declining since the 80's and are now quite low and fairly stable.
We live in one of the safest countries.
You couldn't be more wrong (what else is new)

The time periods are different.
If you want to show the same thing, use the same x-axis.
(And, again, the two charts are using different definitions.)

Again, this is an x-axis issue.
You can make the argument about violent crime from the 80s (and you are correct the numbers are lower) but his statista chart does reflect the rise under Trudeau.

The numbers are straight from Stats Can.

Its not just an x axis issue.
Its also cherry picking one issue or stat and ignoring the fact that crime lates in Canada are globally still quite low.
We rank as #2 safest country in the world for travellers.
Which is why this is only a right winger issue, most Canadians feel safe, its just right wingers who are afraid all the time.
