That's definitely part of it, specifically from a political standpoint. Politicians see only as far as their donors and constituents for money and re-election.

On a broader scale, the more I observe the perversion of justice, science, and social codes, the more I think it goes deeper than that.

There are the virtue-signallers and then there is a large contingent of the population that not only dislikes our society, but hates it and actively want to tear it all down. They believe it is inherently evil, or they've not been able to climb to the top of the social and economic hierarchy so they want to bring everyone else down with them. Like crabs in a bucket but on a massive scale.

Last time I checked, Biden attempted to pass legislation to stem the flow and Trump blocked that legislation - essentially so he could enact measures himself and be the "hero". That's consistent with what he usually does.

Biden is the hero he addressed the migration crisis all by himself in 2024. He and Harris just didn't give American voters confidence that his Administration was dealing with the border problem effectively and expeditiously over his entire term.

I don't know whether the Chilean men in the article are brown or not. 50% of Chile self identifies as White of Spaniard descent, which all of these men could be.
