Hard to tell, but it did look like suspect made some move towards his pocket.
However that cop sounded like a total powertripping asshole. He escalated the situation instead of deescalating it.
I hope he has many sleepless nights that he killed an unarmed man, but I doubt he gives a shit

Not only that. What kind of incompetent procedure is that. Asking a suspect to move and then shooting him because he moved in a wierd way? Just make him lie down and then subdue him. They will pay millons due to their incompetence. But then again who shoots birds with a bb gun and out of a hotel window. Maybe it was karma.
The guy who was shot clearly was not of sound mind. The officer can also be heard saying that if the suspect did not follow orders he would be shot. The guy reached for his belt and he got shot 5 times which seems excessive.
Why the cop was asking him to crawl towards him is puzzling. Why not tell the guy to drop his phone and lie face down with his arms and hands out? This could have been prevented.
I don't think the cop should have ever been charged with murder, possibly involuntary manslaughter. It's a tough one we can't see the whole video.
So far haven't heard anything from the BLM crowd. I'm sure they would prefer to sweep this one under the carpet.

Why should they care about whites? The entire point is that this happens to blacks more often then whites (proportionally) and that nothing is done about this. At least this one made it to court and they will pay millions in a civil settlement.
That was my thought. Why when he was already on the ground, hands on his head, why then was an officer not going to him and handcuffing him???
No he is light-skinned black. In the KKK white supremacist U.S.A. system they just see white officer, black victim, aquittal and you have Jeff Sessions enabling all of this by refusing to try police for civil rights violations. This was clearly a snuff movie where a victim was tortured before being murdered in cold blood. Another race soldier.

The jury found their was reasonable doubt, in that the defence was able to show that the accused reasonably believed that the victim was reaching for a weapon.

I didn't see the comment that he was intoxicated and loud, it was my understanding his air rifle was seen by some one who reported a possible weapon sighting\
I heard it last night on a television evening news broadcast and the BBC article states that he had been drinking.
