No matter if you disagree with his position....

Can you give some respect to Tony Blair?

The leader of the FUCKING LABOR PARTY????

Standing up for his ally, against his own pollsters.

Thanks Tony.

You the man.

I don't care for the flavour of your posts, but YES I will agree that I have alot of respect for Tony Blair I wish he was Canadian we could use a new liberal leader.

I think Blair has ended his political career. He has acted without the support of the electorate and even without the support of his party.

The British are supporting their soldiers, but when the Assult of Iraq is over, Blair will be called to account for his actions.

How much do you pay if I say Yes?

Good of you to point out that the French will not take sides unless they have a vested financial interest. But I guess nobody could ever out bid the billions in oil exploration contracts.

WhOiSyOdAdDy you are such a strong supporter of war, and dropping bombs on people, have you ever thought of a career in the military? The U.S. could use you instead of being here, ashamed to be a Canadian.

I for one appreciate WYD and others who support freedom.

No one ever said there is no price to pay for freedom. It is neither handed to you or deeded over to you . It is your proximity that allows freedom, not your attitude.

uh, that would be the LABOUR party, not the LABOR party...

british (and often canadian) spelling differs, or is britain already become part of the US?

FUCKING is spelt the same everywhere, though I do not think it is officially part of the name of the party! but you know, i would join almost any party that supported sex enough to include it as part of their name!

my policy is:

FREE SEX not FREE TRADE!

Biggut, thats funny, did you think of that one yourself? Contragulations. Look, you obviously feel strongly about using military force, which is your opinion. While I feel that Iraq needs a regimen change, the U.S. must be prepared for a backlash and reprecussions by launching an attack on them.

Just think BigGut, if there was more people like you around before WWI or WWII, maybe instead of a maple leaf on our flag, we would have a swastika and the national language would be German.. and maybe you would have been gassed because of your beliefs

but then, BigGut, I guess you could never comprehend the price that was paid so that you could be free to state your opinion
I support the allied forces and the contributions that the soldiers in the past made in WWI and WWII. I hope their are very few casualties, both the soldiers and citizens in Iraq. I am a proud Canadian unlike youself and if you think I would have supported the hitler regimen as your useless comment above states because my opinions differ from yours, your as fucked up as your name!

I say again, how is Bush being a strong leader of England by ignoring his own people?

I can respect Blair's integrity. He took a side that he believed in and he stood by it despite the danger to his own popularity and position. I can respect that.

However, I'm sorry to have to say that this seems to me to be a gross waste of integrity since he has chosen to support a bad idea.

Zog.

P.S. Hey Frenchy, I just noticed yor new sig-line (LOL) :D!!

confused

Heard numerous posters argue that Cretien was not speaking for Canada when he made his decision. However, Blair was definately not speaking for his country as only 10% of their population and not even their house was willing to support it. So if you give Blair respect for putting his views ahead of that of the population of England why doesnt Cretein who has much more support deserve the same. It is the government's decision to decide what is best for their country and I respect both men for doing what they think is correct (dont agree with either).
