Guys (and gals), whats the best high resolution camera phone out there???????
I wanna get one for my dad, its his 75th birthday next month.

It must have this:

- ability to take still shots
- sound
- high resolution
- uploadable to computer/USB cord

You can also buy a 1L bottle of Tequila Sauza for $2.35, ........... but you have to drive to Mexico to get it.

Anyways, I wouldn't buy an all in one gadget because it is always a compromise, especially since you are looking for high res.

Maybe I'm old fashioned, but I use my cell phone to ..... make phone calls!!!

NO DOUBT On that note where can I get a cell phone that wait for it .........makes phone calls .Without playing music taking pictures answering my emails while vibrating in my pocket and reminding me to get more beer .

they probably want your first born for something like that, but honestly, i dont see why anyone would realisticly need more than 1mp on a camera phone, its a farking PHONE!

Blackberry Pearl hasa nice combo of phone data features and Media Player. Accomodates Trans Flash memory card up to 5 Gig meaning you can load 1000 songs and still have room for pictures. But the camera is only 1.3 MP.

Took me forever just to get my old man to be able to use a plain cell. As for a camera cell - no way man! He's got Polaroid written all over him.

Had to look high & low for the old Star trek flip phone without all the fancy features, so he doesn't lock it by mistake or call LD for hours. Roger was going to hit us with big fees to stay on org CDMA network. Now he can't live without a cellphone.

Thanx everyone, I wound up buying the Sony Ericcson for $570 (incl. taxes).
Its a 2 MP phone that records sound with a 1 yr warranty

I 2nd that....and I would like a phone system that doesn't drop calls less than a mile from 401....

I would dump my home phone...except my cell (Telus) won't work in my own freakin' house....

I'm with you here, I have a Rogers and a Bell phone and neither one works at my home, WTF.

I mean my digital cam is "only" 8 mp.
