Giselle your squish is my command.

Toronto is famous for two types of sandwiches/sanguichis: the peameal bacon and the sausage, rapini and provolone. My personal favorite.

WTF is broccoli rabe!

The Italian veal sandwich is a Toronto institution.

California Sandwiches on Claremont is a must "attempt to finish". It's tasty and enormous.

Can I throw in a bagel?
Everything bagel from Loblaws toasted with butter and cheese.
Fantastic with a hot coffee. And I do not come from a bagel family.

I was there a couple of weeks ago and IMO, it has gone downhill. I've always loved it (even ahead of Pancer's) but they skimped major league on the meat from when Cheryl owned it. At least 30% of the bread had no meat covering it.

That’s surprising. I’ve been many times since she and partners sold and never noticed a difference. Maybe you got end of brisket where slices are thinner and we’re not distributed properly on bread.
