Call Me: The Rise and Fall of Heidi Fleiss

This movie premiered on The Movie Network last night, and I was a lot more impressed than I thought I would. Heidi Fleiss is played by Jamie-Lynn DiScala (Meadow from The Sopranos), and I thought she did a great job.

The whole story of Heidi Fleiss mirrors what happened to John Gotti in the 90's... she took over the business from a madam named Alex who was very low profile; she was an old lady who had never been to jail because she took care of bribing the cops and the press. When Heidi took over, she wanted attention and glamour, and in the end this ruined her.

On an additional positive note, there were several scenes where Jamie-Lynn was topless, and I have to say she has a GREAT body.

Its re-airing a couple of times this week if you have TMN. My only issue with movies on TMN is that you cannot pause if you have to. My phone rang a couple of times, and I missed a total of about 15 minutes, so I will definitely re-watch it.

Here, DiScala plays Fleiss as a cold-hearted good-time gal who breezes from being a teen with a "thing" for older men, to being in charge of the hottest group of call girls in Hollywood. The dialogue is hilariously awful. The acting is grade-school level and the scenes meant to show Fleiss and her gals having sex with Hollywood actors and executives are just idiotic."

Well, I never use what critics say when going to movie in the theatre, so I don't think this is any different for me.

From what I have read about Heidi Fleiss, I think Jami-Lynn did a pretty accurate job portraying her. As for the part about going from being a teen to the madam, everything in a movie needs to be sped-up a lot to fit everything in to the allocated time. In her narration she mentioned being 22 when she started working for Madam Alex, and 27 when she got sent to jail. I'm sure lots more happened in that 5 years than was shown in the movie.

I wouldn't have wanted to spend $13 at a movie theatre to see this, but as far as a made for cable TV movie, it was completely acceptable to me. And I stand by my opinion that Jamie-Lynn did a pretty good job.

Did you actually see her face and rack in the frame?
It would not surprise me if she used a body double like Jessica Alba (Dark Angel/Honey) did in "The Sleeping Dictionary".

I saw Jamie interviewed about the movie, and if I recall correctly, I think she used a butt double. She was very excited about the opportunity to pick a new and improved butt.

It was her for sure. They showed her topless several times, but it was always very quick... it wasn't like she was doing entire scenes with her tits showing.

Saw the flick. loved the tits. watchng my back and waiting for Tony Soprano to track me down.

Yeah, I used rogers new pvr digital box. I love it. I can watch a show and record two others at the sametime. no *ucking with tapes. I was able to record the flick and go back to the barechest scenes (very handy for later that night)

There was a cameo by Jayson Stewart. He played a paparazzi photographer. J-Stew is better known as the Phone Screener and Guest Booker for the Jim Rome Show. Jim really plugged the movie on his show.
