Has anybody went recently? There is a new sign outside calling the place "Diamonds" but still have the old neon's of "Cabaret Canada" on the building. The place looks more like a dump also with the old Esso getting rip apart on the other side of the street and the deforestation on the other side. I'm also thinking there is new owners of the building but I could be wrong cause I just drive now and then in front of the place.

Update

Well I pass yesterday and it's official, it's no longer named Cabaret Canada but Diamonds and it's closed down for renovations. It's says for 7 days but it needs more then 7 days of work in there.

No, the original Diamonds merged somehow with Barbarella's. I was in Cabaret Canada way back on the day it first opened as The Palace of Dreams (or whatever the first name of the place was) it didn't start off well, no girls for the first few hours.

I always thought that they moved the old Rick's Place south on Bank St. after it closed! ;)

I used to like Canada Cabaret. It was always hit and miss, but that made it more fun somehow. Looking for that "Gem" I suppose. And I did find a couple of real gems in there. Darned if I can remember their names tho. LOL

One of them must have been Foxy, the beautiful blonde doll. She is now at NuDen with a different name. Still a doll after 7 years.:)

Another pretty lady was Jordan or Jordana. A pretty brunette. There was also a black open minded lady by the name of Lindsay. No idea where these two are now if they are still dancing.

Anyways they were not treated well at all by the management. Heavy fines were imposed on them by management for like being late, and they wanted their share (and I don't mean share of money, but share of girls) and there was an A-hole bouncer there (Ellay or something, can't remember his name) who was harassing the girls especially pretty ones in the changing room. When I learned about these things (as ladies trusted me in time they started sharing their pain) I boycotted the damn place. Hopefully they re-open under a real NEW management.
Ya know, I think it might have been Jordan. And I definitely do remember them complaining about the fines. That's sillyness.

I was in one of those vacation establishments in Venezuela a couple of years back, and the owner said, organizing these girls is like herding cats. I can see the same thing applying here. You try to punish them, they go somewhere else. Ah well. You reap what you sow.

The sign is removed, the garbage bin is full, the car with no side window is still there and the old sign of Cabaret Canada is still around, but again, the sign is gone, may take a peak this week and report to you guys.
