German is spoken by less than 1%, and doesnt really figure into Belgium's languages as a whole.
Flemish and French are the 2 main ones

No surprise there.

As I mentioned in an earlier post, that whole region is warped and basically "born to fight". Have fun (Western politicians) in hoping that if you lend a helping hand that it will magically transform the general attitude over there to one of: "Hooray, let's all leave our bad baggage behind and live a new life peacefully together in this democratic Western country"

I'm happy not a religious zealot (or religious at all). Last thing I want is to get involved with "Battle of Religions" on Saturday nights at 8 pm on Fox!

I never understood the hatred and making fun of Jewish people. I'm not Jewish. But I know many and every one them seem like a good natured everyday person like anyone else.

Whatever. But maybe because I'm not religious, I don't know the inside scoop as to why Jews are picked on.

It was ineffective. Because there was nobody on the ground to direct these airstrikes, like a regular army needing air support. Apparently, the USAF weren't even coordinating with the Iraqi Army when they were driven out by ISIS launching those suicide bomber driven frankentrucks.

OTOH, the Russian bombing was very effective because they were directed by boots on the ground. They had intel on actual enemy positions.

Of course, the US effort and anti-ISIS bombing operation was a failure since they never supported the Assad regime, the main force fighting against ISIS. They couldn't even bomb the thousand or so tanker trucks shipping oil to Erdogan's son in Turkey, until Putin personally showed Obama pictures of them going back and forth through the Turkish border. In fact, it seems that the US was content letting ISIS have at it against the Syrian army, which led directly to the fall of Palmyra (which is now being retaken by Syria, thanks to Russian air support).

The US has been playing geopolitical games at the expense of the locals. Hence the blowback of the refugee mess in Europe is a direct consequence of this policy. This is going to lead to the breakup of the EU.... another US policy achievement.
