Just read this on www.tsn.ca Sounds like he'll be ok as tests came back negative on a sore glove hand. Not that i dont have confidence in the two back ups but its alot to as a goalie to come in after sitting for so long and play at the level that Marty was at and the level we'll need them to be at. Canada's defense (not just defensemen but team defense....like that one Ranger?) has got to keep strong if this is the case. i have the feeling Marty will play but just something to watch for

Yes - I like the inclusion of team defense rather than just defensemen. The forwards will need to be sharp defensively as well .....

the czechs will probably beat us on shots on goal, so goaltending is very important to Canada...

Canada won woohoo! what a finish! I really thought we were in trouble after they came back to tie it at three. Draper's goal should have been the winner!The czechs always seem to play us hard in international competition. What is really amazing about their effort tonight is doing it while dealing with jet lag. So give credit to the Finns as well!

Canada didnt't give up and it was a sweet goal to finish them off!

Watch out Finland it will be a dogfight to win the cup!

Luongo played great! I had my doubts as to how he would step in and play. Not that he's not a great goalie....he's proved that in the NHL and the Worlds...but coming in to play on short notice and after not being in game action for a long time. Glad to see he came through. This guy is the future goaltender for Canadian International play. Also good to see the young guns going well. Im thinking the Canada/Russia rivalry is going to heat up again in the near future. Great young players on both sides
