No specific link, it is just something I remember reading in one of the print stories about her.
She was apparently discouraged from doing that too much by Disney when she was a Mousketeer.
It all bewildered her because she said that nudity was rather accepted in her household and they were naked a lot.
I also remember her saying that she was heavily involved in the making of the famous schoolgirl outfit video, including the outfits and the dance routines.
She is a fascinating character study. Sexuality has been a part of her identity for a long time, truly since she was indeed a child. One can argue that is good and one can argue it is bad.
It made her a lot of money, but a lot of trauma, too.
She has certainly had plenty of opportunities to play the victim card and say all of those evil old men just used me and made me a sexpot for their pleasure and to make money off of me. She could say how it sickens her that she was dual marketed to teen girls as a singer and to their dads as a pin-up girl (conveniently pinned up in their daughter’s room). But she never does.
Those arguments have been made for her and about her over the past twenty or twenty-five years by everyone from moralists, feminists and even politicians like Ralph Nader. But she just smiles at them like she smiles at everyone else and performs and shows off the goods. I have always liked her and lean toward her being one of the smartest people in the world, rather than one of the dumbest, to answer Chuck Klosterman’s uncertainty.

Was never a fan of Britney. Me i am a life fan of Miley. Another Disney teen sexualized product. But Miley turned it out to her advantage and his now one of the best performers.
Miley understood where many Disney stars failed.. (lindsay, britney,,,). She does not drink or drugs or pills... Totally sober.
