What makes you think the NFL doesn't do that?
If they did, there would be clearly documented, fact-based reasons why a candidate was deemed to not be qualified for a job, and on that basis some of these racism-oriented lawsuits would never get off the ground in the first place.

Denver and NY Giants have released detailed interview notes publicly to dispute Flores version of what happened.
Numerous rumours, I know just rumours, that around Thanksgiving and same time as the Watson trade fell through, Flores and the GM hardly spoke anymore. Told people they will never win with Tua at QB. Flores would walk by players in the building and not even acknowledge them.
What I read today was after the last game the owner(Ross) tried to get the coach and GM to talk out their differences. The coach apparently said " what do you 2 guys know about winning". Well, that was it for Flores which would back up rumours of Flores being, well, a difficult person to work with.

This guy has been using a scorched earth policy for a while now. After the trade for Watson did not happen he decided to sulk. There's reports that he did not speak to any of the coaching staff after Thxgiving. The owner had no choice but to fire a noncommunicative coach.

Belichick's coaching tree is not impressive at all
It's why I put Bill Walsh ahead of him as greatest coach of all time.

This was my original point. NFL teams are professional organizations - because of that, I doubt this lawsuit ever makes it off the ground in any meaningful way. Don't see any kind of settlement in the cards whatsoever. There is no demonstrable anti-black racism involved at all. Flores threw his career away for nothing. If he's pissed at anyone, it should be at Bill Belichick. That guy should have just minded his own business and kept his damn mouth shut.
