This is the point. People are comparing Ford to Churchill. That's laughable. The only similarity between the two is that they're two fat white guys that drink. From thereon there are massive departures. Ford associated (and defended!) the very people he was put in office to rid this city of. He sustained a crackhouse and supported the drug industry in Toronto while turning around and claiming to be pro police and pro law and order. And to justify his time in office he trots out bullshit numbers on fiscal responsibility that turn out to be completely false. He caused city council to be more dysfunctional than ever and has practically frozen city business in its tracks. What exactly is the reason to support this drug-hazed hypocrite?

He said he has nothing left to hide but has not admitted his cocaine habit nor his relationship and clandestine meetings with Lisi.
And just a few days ago he said of his brother, "He's ten times smarter than anyone I've ever met," but then yesterday when Doug suggested Rob take a break, blew off that advice.

Why would you think that? Most guys here write reviews of complaint if they show up and the SP is drunk or the SP bails on the appointment, stops returning calls and the next day says "I was drunk"
Decent people interviewed on CP 24 are saying that it is the media and mudslingers that are now the problem. Give the poor man some space. Let him do his job.

Back in the bad old days we had the stocks to publicly humiliate sinners (to-day we have the Toronto Star and the late night TV clowns).
Maybe there is still more relevant information that need to come out. I remember when the media (mainly the Star) was breaking the news about Ornge, Mazza was on 'sick' leave pretty early on. If the media stopped then, we may not know what we know now and the provincial government could still be pouring millions into Ornge.

With Ford, you don't like him so just don't vote for him again in 2014.

Part of the process is for each side to voice their opinions and debate Rob Ford's credibility. One the one hand you have an admitted liar and crack user that associates with criminals so let's hear the other side. It's not just about voting, it's about hearing the arguments as to why you voted a certain way. I'd love to hear viable arguments from the pro-Ford camp that goes beyond "what's the big deal?" and "I don't care that he smoked crack" because that's head in the sand stuff.
