Let me clarify.
I will vote for the conservatives in the next election because even if Trudeau resigns, the rest of the party needs to pay the price for supporting the sock puppet and get turfed as well. Especially Freeland. I want an extinction event in the next election for the liberals. Which is why I wanted Trudeau to stay on to fight the next election. He's nothing but a boat anchor at this point and any new leader will do better than Justin would have done.
But of all the candidates who will be lining up to be the next leader of the liberal party, the ONLY one I'd be OK with would be Carny. At least he has some brains. But I still won't vote for him.

I think the Liberals are going to get decimated regardless of who is leader...
This is false. The dollar is up fractionally. It is not soaring. Change in PM wouldn't move the needle that much. But, say the BOC decided to raise interest rates....that would get the dollar climbing....Canadian dollar surging upwards now.
