No the daily bad driving.
I guess these clowns wanted to make things spicy, bring it up a notch.

Why? Was it racist of me to post the video of the perps?
The racist part was this:

“they truly destroyed that beautiful city.”

Pretty sure the “they” you are referencing is not regarding bad drivers.

Two of four suspects in a viral Brampton road rage video have been identified and it’s believed all four are “evading police,” officers say.

Peel Regional Police said the incident happened at around 7:20 p.m. on Wednesday when the victim was driving in the area of Torbram Road and Eagleridge Drive.

Police said there was “an interaction” with the victim and the occupants of a gold-coloured Hyundai Sonata, which had the Ontario licence plate CXHK981.

“During this incident, the victim was confronted by four individuals, threatened, and their vehicle damaged,” police said.

A short video on the social media platform X, which as of early Friday evening was viewed more than 4.6 million times, appears to show a man smashing a large crack in the windshield of a car.

The video, with the caption “catch and charge them,” says it was recorded in the area of Torbram Road and Sandalwood Parkway.

The video, filmed from the driver’s seat of a stopped car, shows a man walking up to the vehicle and trying the driver’s-side door.

He then walks to the front of the car and seems to punch the windshield of the vehicle hard enough for a large circle of breaks to form in the middle.

Another man then kicks the front of the car in the video and both return to another stopped vehicle, along with another two men.

In a news release issued Friday, police said investigators have identified two of the four individuals as 23-year-old Ramanpreet Massih and 28 year-old Akashdeep Singh.

One of the two unidentified suspects was described as a male, six feet tall, who was last seen wearing a grey baseball cap, a black graffiti hoodie with “Jordan 33” written in red, dark pants, and red and white low-top Jordan sneakers.

The other identified suspect was described as a male, five-feet-eight-inches tall, who was last seen wearing a black hoodie, black pants and black Jordan sneakers, police said.

“As investigators continue to investigate and search for the suspects who are all believed to be evading police, they are encouraged to seek legal counsel and turn themselves in to the police,” officers said.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of the suspects or who witnessed the incident was asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.

I understood the joke but I am also not sure if that was a dig at my pro-Palestinian stance. But if it was, then Indians are actually VERY pro-Israel!
It was purely a joke mocking religion in general, and icons specifically.

1. The Mezzuza is the little case on the doorframes of jewish homes. Within that case is a miniature rolled up paper scroll of the Torah, the jewish holy book/bible- so to speak.

And maybe the paper inside muzzuzots on the car door frames (not something done by jews anyways!) , would protect against the violence implied by the breaking of the car window by the otherwise peaceful Sikh Kara bangle icon.

2.The Shabbat shalom Brampton reference on Friday is a timely, well intentioned joke that our jewish members might get a smirk out of!

Translated: "Hope everyone Brampton has a peaceful Saturday sabbath!"

Again in reference to the previous day's violence.

It had nothing to do with your positions pro/anti Palestine/Israel. I often have a hard time keeping up with who hates who on what subject or people any more on TERB 🤷‍♂️ 🤣

I tend to analyze and respond to posts based on the subject post at hand based on whatever information I have at that point. So I might think someone is a fucking idiot on one subject, stupid on another, a genius elsewhere etc. I try to keep an open mind on each post so I can maybe learn something new or see things through another person's eyes and perspective. I actually try to look for the good first in most matters and people. And I know it sounds stupid but I like being convinced I'm wrong! And tbh, and not ass kissing, I think you and I have a similar way of thinking even though we may (or may not 🤷‍♂️) agree on particular issues.

Although there are plenty of exceptions that I'd have to be the idiot to apply that way of my thinking to very distinctly simpletons here on TERB! 😜

I’m trying to decide if this is some sort of self-depreciating ironic self-own that pokes fun at yourself. Might be.
I'll help you decide. It's not. Considering I was proven right in subsequent posts. I trust you can read for yourself.

Shrug, why bother. Anything and everything is racist to you. It’s pedantic. Talk about free rent in your head.
Racist stuff, is racist.

You see a brown guy from Brampton commit crimes, and you attribute it to ALL immigrants - that is racist.
You see a road rage incident in Brampton and low key say that "they" have ruined Brampton, ignoring the fact that the majority of residents in Brampton are successful people - that is racist.
You argue, that DEI initiatives result in people who are not qualified for their jobs - that is racist.
You look at the housing prices, and blame immigrants for it - that is racist.
You look at crimes in the country and attribute it to immigrants and refugees, ignoring the fact that WHITE CANADIAN CITIZENS BORN AND RAISED IN CANADA commit the majority of crimes - that is racist.
You use language like - "immigrants are pouring in or flooding in" - that is racist.
You lament that Canada is "turning brown" or will start speaking Punjabi - that is racist.

Negative stereotyping of POCs based on outliers (such as crimes), or dehumanizing speech of POCs and immigrants, is racist.

And if you say racist shit, I will call it out as such.

yawn, I’ve never said most of those things & half of your rants the data backs it up. Not liking evidence & statistics doesn’t mean it’s racist. Meanwhile, you blatantly ignore and justify your vile anti-semitism. Like I said, rent free.
I did not say you said anything. I have not seen you post much. I am generally saying that there are members who say these things and I call them out. And none of those people have actually presented any evidence & statistics, because if they did, they'd find immigrants and POCs are not the problem.

And anti-semitism? I dont respect that accusation because I am not obligated to support someone just because they are Jewish, when they advocate for Zionism and take part in the genocide and violent dispossession of the Palestinians.

Whenever I have mental idle time and I'm sitting at a bar or in a cab I ask questions. First of all if you're looking for a good night out ask a bartender. They can be pretty insightful. Makes sense right? Anyways, I have heard from many uber and cab drivers they wont work the night shift in Brampton. Just too much trouble.

I am still wondering how he was able to break the windshield with his fists lmao.
I wondered that too. Man that must have hurt. I didn't notice any blood too. Forsure if I did that to my hand no jerk off time for me for at least two months....

Road rage is getting bad everywhere. Guys and girls lets think of this moment and remember to walk away because this behavior will lead to a criminal background and you will be changed. Then you have this on your resume for life. Its not worth it. All the people involved in this will regret this when they are old like me.

Someone said it was a bracelet he was wearing.

And yes, road rage is one that can get quickly out of control and fuck up your life.

… and neither are other people that you disagree with obligated to support bad behaviour of people merely because they’re minorities or because they sit on this self-defined ladder of oppression that many think gives them a free pass.

Weird how that works for you but not others. Rent free.
You should not support bad behaviour of individuals. But you should also not extrapolate bad behaviour of those individuals and apply it to entire demographic groups. That would be racist.

For example: If these Indian-Canadian dudes were engaged in road rage, call them out etc., But if you say "they destroyed Brampton", when Brampton in reality is actually a generally safe city where 99.99% of well meaning people live and thrive, then that is racist. Going by that same logic, since the majority of criminals in Canada are white, would you then say "White people destroyed Canada"?

I have to admit I have done some dangerous things while driving because of some road rage and I admit I had a bad problem. I would drive in part in the oncoming lane to ensure someone didn’t cut me off at a merge. I was a mean driver. Never letting anyone “get the better of me”. Especially big Denali style trucks and the jackass that drive them. I have an old car. I never buy new so I use to be willing to damage my car to prove a point. So fucking stupid.

I remember one time was driving north once and a guy ran a stop sign to get in front of me on the single lane road. I honked and he decided to then drive 10 km/h. So I went to go illegally go around on a double yellow. He then sped up so I couldn’t pass and it was a game of chicken basically on if I could speed up enough to get around before the on coming car came. So stupid and reckless I know. I was younger. Much younger but now, I just call a girlfriend on Bluetooth, sit back and chat. I pay enough attention to the road to drive safe but not enough that people piss me off. I drive slower and calmer. If someone cuts me off, I just vent to my girl on the phone. This is for long drives. A GF of mine does delivery so we keep each other company while I drive and she works.

Touring really helped me calm down too. Just having to drive more and longer, I have more patience.

I’m embarrassed by some of my road rage behaviour of the past. I’m beyond lucky no one ever got hurt with my dangerous driving.

It is becoming a hugh problem. I’m just glad I’m better now.

Yeah me too. I've done some real stupid shit while driving, in my early 20s, and heck came close to death a couple of times lol.

There was one time when I was driving in India, and this was a single lane state highway. You never overtake when the road curves because you cannot see who is oncoming. But I was so frustrated with this truck in front of me going at 40kmph, I slammed my foot down and overtook him on a curve. As I was 75% past him, I saw an oncoming truck, but I wouldn't have had enough time to brake and tuck in behind the truck I was overtaking. So I slammed my foot down and cut right in front of the truck I was over taking at about 120kmph. As I cut in front of him, I saw that the other truck was probably 2 feet away from my car, with the driver horrified and slamming on his horn. Scared the shit outta me and I had to stop by the side of the road and drink some water. The guy I overtook pulled over and said "Are you okay sir?". 😂

These days I am laid back and calm when I drive. If a guy is driving aggressively I just let the guy go past me so he can go bother someone else lol.
