I have gone to the Blue Pearl website a few times, and haven't been able to figure something out.

If you click on the attendants, and then go to Schedule and then the Night-time Schedule, the site has a music clip that plays, and then repeats itself (its a bit loud - makes it hard to surf their site discretely).

Well, I can't get it out of my head, and cannot figure out the name and origin of the music clip.

So, let's see who can answer this trivia question for me - what is the name of the piece of music, and who are the performers?

My guess is that it sounds like the instrumental break from a Frank Sinatra song circa the late 50s or early 60s - possibly with Nelson Riddle as bandleader.

Anyone know it?

In a trap
May Be Way Off Base, But......

......it sounds to me like snippets of Doc Severenson's intro to the "Tonight Show" with Johnny Carson!

uh, the sample you hear on that part of the site is probably from the same song that I am talking about, but it is too brief...

try going to http://www.bluepearlspa.com , skip the intro, click on attenedants, then click on schedule, then go to the night time schedule... or try http://www.bluepearlspa.com/nitesched.htm

Goober - I doubt it is Doc Severson - it sounds too much like "Fly Me to the Moon" and some of the other Sinatra stuff I know that really swings - it swings and has a bigger horn section than Severinson normally used.
