No its hockey fans who are tired of Vancouver's bitching fans and media who are totally out of control. Playing the victim to this extent is tiring, especially after what Burrows, Lapier and Rohm did in the first three games. Add in the Sedins diving which is ridiculous, and Luongo who gets unjustly glorified, and its a hard team to like despite all their skill.

This did not happen when Calgary, Edmonton or Ottawa was in the final (Ottawa was hated by Toronto fans before it even started). Fans didn't turn against them mid-way like they are now.
I never hated Ottawa. They are 3rd on my list. First Toronto, then Montreal, then Ottawa. Usually it is Edmonton next then Vancouver of Calgary. Now I have to fit Winnipeg in again. Last game saw way too much diving by some of the Canucks. Maybe they could have gotten another goal if the concentrated more on playing. Marchand and Lucic could do with trying to play instead of diving. Throwing the head back anytime a stick comes near seems to be something all the Bruins are well trained in. It is sad when even Chara tries diving. It is something in this series almost everyone is guilty of. Canucks have tried it in others series too much. Ever since Savard went down Bruins have been playing going for the head on other teams. Tossing Chara for the season would have sent them the message. His shoving Pacioretty's head into the stanchion was one of the most brutal and disgusting acts I have ever seen. He should have been gone for the season and playoffs. The photo on the front page of the sun said it all. I do hope with the change they will do a better job of suspensions.

One thing I loved about the last game is the ref being noticiably fed up , assignling penalties to both teams and make them play 4 on 4. Normally I don't want penalities called in a playoff game ( unless it's something blatant and dangerous ) but it was nice to see the ref try to take some sort of control.

Neither the Bruins or Canucks are very likable.

I can completely agree with that. When Canucks went against Chicago I was very tempted to cheer for Chicago. They play it hard and so skilled. When Canucks played for Nashville I was likewise close if not closer to cheering for Nashville. I love underdogs. I cheer for Vancouver because it is a Canadian city. I cannot see why someone can cheer for a city's team in another country over their own country. With Boston I have no desire to see them get the cup or win. They have gotten favourable reffing in almost every game I have seen them in. The refs fall for their stuff, where as they seem to have caught onto Vancouver's diving that they do not call ones that are not diving. They should let the refs see the video replay so they can reverse a call from say high sticking where it does not touch the person to unsportsmanship when the persons head flies back, or the flop. With the speed of video replay it would not slow the game down as much as TV timeouts do.

Or you can make it where the coach/captain can decide wether or not to have it looked into, like the bend on a stick, if the coach/captain is right , the player is penalized, if the coach is wrong, the coach's team gets a penalty.

Vancouver will have to score at least 3 goals against Tim Thomas to win to-night. That is a lot to ask.

Update 1: Vancouver will need at least 4 goals.

Update 2: Need at least 5 goals.

Well here we are, heading to game seven. Series tied 3-3.
The Bruins, however, lead in goals scored 19-8, not that it counts for anything, but it tells me that Vancouver is not clearly the better team.
If someone had told me that the series was going seven I would not have been surpised in the least, but if it was said that one team would win 1-0, 3-2OT and 1-0 I would have guessed these the Bruin wins because I thought the Canucks had more scoring.

Not only does Boston have more goals by far..... Did you see that STAT ON HOW MANY MINUTES EACH TEAM has been leading in the series.

Vancouver has only lead for something like 35 minutes. Boston has lead over 150 minutes and been tied the rest of the time.

TIM THOMAS WINS PLAYOFF MVP...win or lose....and I CAN CALL THAT NOW!
8 goals...in 6 games against THIS VANCOUVER TEAM.

TOTAL DOMINANCE

You have to go back to 1945 (Toronto/Detroit final) to find the next lowest number...and that was 9.... THOMAS is AMAZING

Canucks are whining about the Boychuk hit on Raymond.
Did he have malicious intent ? Come on really ?
Boychuk just rode Raymond off the puck, we see that very same thing about a dozen times a game. No discipline is necessary.

Message to Vancouver; Quit whining about every little thing that goes against you. This is the NHL finals, if you are not prepared to pay the price, then you do not deserve to be in the final.

Apparently Reynolds wasn't faking it. The hit, which I did't see as bad or dirty, resulted in a compress vertebrate.

Very possible Guy, that media outlets have something to do with it, plus the time to talk.

We are going off an NBA final which had its greatest ratings in a while, because that media has turned a douchebag like Lebron into a villain .... deservedly.

Roberto Luongo Stanley Cup MVP:thumb:
He lost it last night.

So who wins the Conn Smythe?

If Boston Wins - Thomas

If Vancoiver Wins - THomas? Who would be the candidates from Vancouver - Luongo, Kessler maybe.
