Most doctors will tell you that using antibacterial soap is a BAD idea. The reason is that it creates SuperBugs that resist antibacterial soap and antibiotics.
Our bodies are a host to many many creatures. There are lice that live on your eye lashes and no other place. Most creatures are our "friends", cleaning off the dead skin, etc.
Mind you, it creeps me out to think that there are tiny lice shitting into my eyes.
Some pretty good points you make. However, most antibacterial soaps don't
kill bacteria, they bind to it and help the water carry it away, along with their excrements and eggs. I think what you're thinking off is OCD people who scrub themselves with bleach or hydrogenperoxide.
Any way, don't worry, you get back your normal microbes in no time. Your home is full of them, just handle your bedding, remote control, computer... . The wash just gets rid of unfriendlies from the outside (or someone else) and controls their population.
Besides, try convincing someone who's supposed to do DATY, BBBJ or RJ that those bacteria are part of a healthy body's maintenance crew!
