Is it worth it to splurge on laser hair removal for the obvious places or is a weekly waxing a better alternative?
Sounds like a one time deal or a few times is better than waxing every week. One of the ladies at Flirt shaved it and she was sooo soft afterwards.

I went for laser removal for my back as I was tired of getting it waxed for summer days in the pool. I would say it was well worth it. It probably took 6 or 7 sessions.

I've been thinking of giving waxing a shot. I fully shave my body hair and I have to set aside an hour every week or two weeks for it.

As I've mentioned before, it's a two shower and a bath process. Though lately I'm mostly doing it for maintenance. Even though it's felt like a case of "All dressed up with no place to go" for the last year, or so I also remember when I let it go for a couple months a few years back and I had to set aside an evening to hack through the growth.

As an aside, now that "manscaping" has become a lot more common, I sort of miss the reaction I received from ladies when they saw that I go bare down there. I still receive compliments but I don't get the "Wow!" reaction that I did when I first started.

Still, one of my happy places right now is remembering the reaction of one lady I used to see when she saw I was shaved. She could not stop gushing about it. One time she even commented, "It's so fucking hot you shave!"

hmm interesting... how do deal with the stubbles and itch when it begins to grow back a day or 2 after shaving?

I have never heard any long term shilling on laser hair removal, though it has been around for ages and ages, seems like a lot of time and money for uncertain results. I myself do not have the pain tolerance for waxing, but I am also Scandinavian and have relatively sparse body hair. I just shave.

Honestly? Once you start doing it regularly it isn't that bad. Lately, it seems like it doesn't start to grow back again until a day or two before I'm due for another shave.

hmm might need a few treatments tho... however, anything permanent might need you to really think it through, the after effects could be problematic long term :(
I had around 7-8. Im a beast and would love to have a permanent effect on my back hair. sadly the hair removal biz doesnt offer a guarantee of hair loss.

I went the laser route on my back and was very happy with the results and would recommend.

Now initially, I tried "laser hair free skin clinic" in High Park and they were fucking terrible. Dumpy place, tried to upsell me out of the gate on some package deal and the young woman who did me was untrained and incompetent. Just some cosmology student. Fortunately, I had only paid for one session and never went back.

But thru terb I found "The laser clinic" which at the time was in Woodbridge. Run by a woman named Jessica who was very good at her job and knew what she was doing. Everything about the experience was good. Results were very good. Yes, took about 6 sessions and it wasn't cheap, but it worked. Night and day compared to Laser Hair free skin clinic.

Jessica told me that the process works best on dark haired individuals, so I was in luck there.

GTA & Thereabouts...
BakBlade is an option as well. I think it works quite well and feels good scaping that hair right off. Inexpensive too.

The only downside for me is that I need help if I want to do it quickly... Age and shoulder injuries are catching up to me and it can be tough getting to all the spots.

I've conned my wife into doing it with me standing in the tub... Takes 2 minutes. Grab a vacuum and suck the hair up.
