from what I've read on-line - the planned plot for the series is to chronicle Capone's rise to the top. I think there's a lot of potential with that though I'm hesitant to get excited about it. When characters you get attached to are off'd - it's difficult.
That's the thing about this series that I love. Each character is developed so well.... even the assholes are likeable... you understand why they are doing what they do before they even do it....
I'm worried about Jimmy's buddy.... he's so sad
He just needs some love.... fak - gotta wait till September *more tears*I have been addicted to this series since it began. The episodes written by Terence Winter, and directed by Tim Van Patten (as was the finale for this season), are the best. However, the gratititous violence that came toward the endings of the last few episodes almost turned me off watching the series.

I really doubt the writers of "Boardwalk Empire" are gonna pull an "Inglorious Bastards" and change history for the sake of entertainment...
I think the real life historical figures will on the most part live and die like they did in actual history....
I wonder if the writers will bring in other famous gangsters from that era such Dutch Schultz and Bugsy Siegel (Siegel was supposedly very close to Meyer Lansky)....

Nucky is safe - he died of natural causes and he wore a red carnation in his lapel according to google lol.
Capone is safe. That doesn't help me from grieving for Jimmy though lol
I hope more people start paying attention to this show - really - I don't feel there's anything that compares.
Nucky's wife is in for trouble - I want to slap her for being so naive - she's too smart for stupidity like that... but I agree with those who've praised her.... she's a beautiful woman. Her voice is just beautiful.... I love her accent - I'm part Irish but way to much of a caker to have an accent like hers lol.
I love Kelly MacDonald, she is the star of the show. She was also great in the Oscar winner 'No Country for Old Men' where she displays a great east Texas accent.

season one was available on hbo on demand until recently but you can surely find it online. Season 2 is still up. Seriously - watch it! I know you'll like it.
ya - as much as I enjoyed Inglorious bastards - I completely lost all respect for the movie in the last 20 minutes. Artistic licence is one thing... but completely changing significant historical facts isn't cool.
btw - what do you guys think about the hot Irish guy? I don't know what to make of him - is he a bad guy? He's freak'n hawt....
