Blue Jays & SARS

I was just watching KC kickin the butts out of the Blue Jays when Paul Godfrey came on and announced that available tickets for the Tuesday game will go for $1.00 per ticket.

He wants everyone to come down and show the world that this SARS thing is being blown out of proportion and lives in T.O. continue as usually.

I think this is a great idea and will find my way down to the skydome to help get the message out.

There is spectulation that Ted Rogers will invite all members of the provincial & federal government to be his guess also.

Anyone else coming down???

Why would anyone care about

the Jays. I mean in the "Hey Day's" of the past, you had Dave Stewert, Clemens, Mosbey, Winfield, Henke, Cone, Carter, Upshaw, (the list goes on and on.....) of players active in the various youth programs and charities around the city. The personal and public relations between the Jay's and the city of Toronto's people were awsome. Perhaps a system that was put in place and left with Gilick or Beeston?

This 2003 Blue Jay's is a perfect example on how these guy's don't give a flying fuck about Toronto. And I love the game. As a matter of fact Baseball is my first love. I mean the history and passion involved with this game when you get close to it is uncomparable to any other sport IMHO.

What MLB is to Torontonians is a shame. If not deserved.
