They should've left him in...they were going to winMarco, big game pitcher!

They have 5 outfielders. 6 if you count Barney.Upton has speed, so does barney, he'll even Stroman(who they used in the past).
Four outfielders are enough
Getting close to the end of an interesting social media incident.CanMan got off easy. He's only getting charged with public mischief:

I had them missing the wild card game.I'm perplexed.
More than 3 weeks after the Blue Jays season was declared over, they're still playing games.
I believe that Showalter made the correct call not bring Britton in to pitch the 11th inning. Britton could only give you 2 innings. What happen after 2 innings when Britton leaves the game, and the game is still tie, then the top of the inning the Bal takes the lead? Who are you going to bring in to pitch the bottom of the inning to shut down the Jays?It could have been a different outcome, Showalter did not use Britton who is virtually unhittable. Even though it wasn't a save situation, teams have used their closer to shut down opposition until they can score runs to take lead, especailly in a must win game.
Any ways, on to Texas!
Baseball went from 154 to 162 games. Hockey went from 50 to 70 to 82 games. World Series records would still be good as it is a best of 7.You cant do that, because it would mess with historical records.
I will accept your logic but in the 11th with runners on the corners, EE, JB coming up, Jiminez throwing meatballs and your season on the line, you toss in your closer.I believe that Showalter made the correct call not bring Britton in to pitch the 11th inning. Yep can't argue with that. It's ok if it was a 5 game series but it's do or die.I will accept your logic but in the 11th with runners on the corners, EE, JB coming up, Jiminez throwing meatballs and your season on the line, you toss in your closer.
If your a Jays fan, it's the correct call. Thank You Buck.I believe that Showalter made the correct call not bring Britton in to pitch the 11th inning. Britton could only give you 2 innings.
