WTF?!? It's not on TV and you can't stream it online? WTF?!! One of the best series all year, the Jays doing great, and you can't watch it or listen to it online? That's farked...
I agree that the best case scenario is that you go down to the dome and cheer on the boys in person, however..................not everyone can get down there, and you would assume that because the team is owned by Ted Rogers it would be on TV.unshavencuban said:How about coming down 2 the ballpark & enjoy a nice night out
There's plenty of tickets available 4 the game later tonight,707pm start as the jays go 4 the sweep,it's suppose 2 be another gorgeous night out
come 2 the Rogers Centre/Skydome & support the hometown team
be a fan-if u cant make it try channel 59,82 or 85 on the rogers digital box
well I'm not defending anything or anybody. I definitely wish this series was on the tube. But the fact is that these are games that are still going on in May and just probably won't have any impact on the final standings in October. The networks had prior committments to show (in this case) 1. NBA playoffs and 2. Memorial Cup action. Both of these events are yearly high points in pro basketball and junior hockey and supposedly bring in higher numbers than games 45 through 47 in a 162 game regular season.rsalomon said:If the Jays are serious about drawing back fans they need to make the product available on television. Sure the game is available on Fan 590, but I agree if the Red Sox, the reigning world series champs are in town, the game should be on TV.
Didn't know that. The Bandit said:Both games have been on Rogers CH. 59. It's supposed to be a free preview MLB station.
For starters, how about all those years of toiling in mediocrity? The Blue Jays dug their own grave; now it's up to them to climb out of it.puckinbuff said:I also don't understand why a team in a city as large as Toronto can't draw better, especially against the Yankees and Red Sox.
Doesn't hold much water IMHO. No team has seen more mediocrity than the Cubs, or Red Sox for that matter. Both similar size cities, (very large populations) and both are sold out, for all intents.Keebler Elf said:For starters, how about all those years of toiling in mediocrity? I know what you mean. Well, to upset timing is the most effective tool for any pitcher at any level.
