Blu-ray trailer tirade!!

Ok so I drop by the local video store and rent a couple of blu-rays for a quiet afternoon (District 9 and Inglorious Basterds) I pop in District 9 (read my review in the movie section if interested) but what really got on my nerves is the inability to skip the trailers on my PS3

Now there is already enough pain and suffering in the world I dont need it brought to my life by having to sit through the trailers for that stupid Michael Jackson movie , another for 2012 and to add to the torture the sequel to Bondoock Saints!!!

Whatever happened to the good old days were you could just fast forward through the crap (anything that has Michael Jackson's name attached to it) Why do the companies that make these discs feel the need to do this.

They want to give you a real movie theatre experience!

Advertisers are soon going to run out of places to market their products... (Having exhausted every bit of free space in media already...)

Pretty soon they will be devising chips to implant in our heads to project images directly into our brains!

Hit the menu button as soon as you pop it in and you can bypass it totally. It was the same with the video tapes and the dvds when you rented them, why wouldnt they do the same into the blu ray?

Bingo - Top Menu actually if you have the blu tooth remote.....(under the green button)

The new DVD's do this also. I feel like they are telling me I can't do anything I want. I must do what they tell me to do or watch.
Well where is my FREEDOm / Charter of rights, ? I do what I want not what they want me to do. If this is the case I might as well get married.

Sometimes, the "menu" keys don't work either.

In that case, you will have to use the fast forward keys (R1, I think).
