Yair gunna wait a bit on this one before commenting. Certainly ignoring commands is stupid. But worth his life stupid? Not sure will wait for further facts.

I did talk to a NSW cop friend in Oz about the Atlanta case where the bloke sleeping in the car then he tried to take off and took the taser...he said "The coppers had his vehicle. If i couldn't run him down I would have impounded it and when he came to claim it pinch him then. If he never returns we keep it and state gives us title and we use it for UC work. No need to discharge their weapons as he's legging it out."

Based on what's been presented so far, I find it hard to believe that a pack of racist officers decided to just shoot someone multiple times because they felt like it. I guess the story will unfold soon.
I find it hard to believe that the officers lives were in any way in danger when they shot.

Well if he was going for some kind of weapon, I don't think they wanted to find out how dangerous the situation could be.
But we weren't there, so best to wait for the investigation. Otherwise, it's all speculation as to what heppened exactly.

Well, one problem is solved for sure. He won't be resisting arrest ever again. And after the riots, there will be a lot more Republican votes in Wisconsin. Did I mention that it's a swing state? Burn away, LOL!!!!

Ever wonder why when the cops are called to a domestic disturbance involving two white women the police focus on the black man and shoot him 7 times in the back?

So if I like driving drunk I just need to drive a cheap enough vehicle so that I don't mind running away from it if police investigates me and then I get another cheap vehicle? Makes sense

They had him outnumbered like 10 to 1. To many donuts to be able to run him down and beat him up for resisting arrest?
are cops in running and kung fu business? is that a cheap movie? the women filming it said he had a knife... well, you live by the sword, you die by the sword then.

I really wish cops were trained to hit ppl with cars tho. That robber with a knife downtown toronto near the lake who got hit by a cops car, that to me was a perfect policing. Especially during the pandemic. Distancing and all. https://globalnews.ca/video/6810959...og-probing-arrest-of-toronto-robbery-suspect/

To be clear: I feel bad that these ppl are so fucked up that they end up doing stupid things and get smoked, and if they are disproportionately black because of systemic discrimination, I feel bad for them for them even more so. That being said, you can't have it both ways, if you are an outlaw then don't complain.

This very similar scenario did happen in the past but with a different outcome...
You mean the way it happened last night?
17 year old white 'militia' member shot a protester in the head, was chased down by unarmed protesters and then shot some more.
After which he calmly walks by the police while protesters yell he was the shooter.

Gotta love ABC's polls...they are never wrong:

Gotta love how the democrats are hijacking the BLM movement.

But I must say I do like this scientific statistic presented in the poll:

Eighty-five percent of whites now say there's a Black person they consider a fairly close personal friend, up from 54% when first asked in 1981. And 89% of Black people say the same about a white person, up from 69% 39 years ago.

Are you going to denounce this act of violence and aggression as well to Trump supporters or will just do it when it’s against the ideology you support?

How about this one?

So where did this 17 year old hoodlum get the money for an AR-15, let alone where did he get an AR-15??
I wonder when we hear from his parents.
The kid shot people then walked right by the police with the crowd yelling 'he's the shooter' and the police let this kid with an AR-15 just walk by.

Totally fucking messed up.
No NBA games because of it.

The common thread in almost all of these incidents are suspects refusing to following the instructions of the police. I cannot understand why innocent suspects do this, and no one has even tried to explain why this happens. Following police instructions is not optional. Most of the time, their instructions are given to ensure the safety of the officers and those in the vicinity. The instructions are standard protocol for a reason - because MANY suspects DO have weapons, and DO fire on police if given the chance. Many, many, more times than suspects who are ever shot by police in error.

It is not an unreasonable thought that a suspect who refuses to comply with an order to step away from the car is going to retrieve a weapon. It is ridiculous to ask someone who is just doing a job to risk their life by allowing a suspect to do whatever they want until they flash a weapon. By then, its too late.

If people want to complain about being unlawfully arrested, there is a legal process for that. You don't get to contest your arrest on the spot by refusing police instructions. If anyone is teaching people otherwise, they are part of the problem.
Yes, victim blaming is getting to be a serious problem...
