Is there anything in that article which suggest any illegality or impropriety?
Stinging butt hurt appears to be yours though.

Better yet, why don't you tell us in all seriousness how BLM has actually hindered white people?
Butt hurt? Talk about the pot calling the kettle black, so to speak. Conservatives tend to deal in facts and common sense. Getting hysterical and oversensitive is what generally happens on your side of the fence, pal.
I never said BLM hindered whites. If you learned to read properly you would see I was making the point that BLM hurts blacks more than anyone. The George Floyd protests caused billions of dollars in property damage. Many if not most of those affected were black-owned businesses.
With friends like that who needs enemies, eh?

LMAO. That may be the funnies post of the year. "Facts"? The current GOP deals in facts which may as well have been written by Lewis Carol And the common sense is the belief that this is still or may one day again be the 1950's. the common sense is based upon an entirely fictional reality. Too funny..

Yeah, they love the 1950s. Women and blacks knew their place. Women in the kitchen, blacks keeping quiet and getting lynched if they got uppity. Queers and what not just didn't exist, or were imprisoned/hospitalized and/or shunned.

I know this will fall on deaf ears, because your minds are made up about how hard your life was growing up, but black people in many ways are treated as second class citizens to this day in the United States. Police harass them, stores treat them differently, cabs won't pick them up, and they were denied good jobs, educations and places to live. Even poor white people are typically better off because they don't face many of these same situations. And, yes, there are justified cop shootings against blacks, there are a massive number of police interactions that end violently far too frequently. They treat them as animals or the "other." The cops put on deadly chokeholds onto black suspects, or shoot unarmed people. And they are rarely face punishment even in the most egregious situations.

And whoever said that they are revolutionaries, you're damn right. They want to change a broke and corrupt system. They are not calling for violence, but they are demanding change. They want to educate people and help end violence against black people. And, by saying black lives matter, it doesn't mean others don't. They just want to be treated as equals and have the same rights and treatments as anyone else. And, despite the GOP only knowing one MLK quote about character over colour of skin....that hasn't happened yet, and we are a looooong way from that.

Finally, to the person who said MLK would be rolling over in his grave. You are so wrong. King would have been marching with them. He would be leading the charge. Read some history books. He said a lot more things after 1963 and before he was assassinated. That might help you understand how wrong you are.

I just noticed that I quoted your post by accident, hence your rebuttal. It was a technical error. Sorry about that.
I also noticed that in your reply you didn't address the main point about BLM and just went on the usual attack against conservatives. Nice deflection.
BTW I wasn't alive in the 50s so it's hard for me to idealize that era.

The fact that you would think that shows how out of touch you are. First, BLM does not advocate violence. They are not like the Oath Keepers who plan to use force at some point, or the Boogaloo Boys who want to start a racial civil war. Do people get mad because of what happens to black people? Yes. The do bad things. But, the fact you cannot separate that is more on you then on BLM.

So, let's look at what MLK was saying by the time he was assassinated, which happened 54 years ago on April 4th, and his I Have a Dream speech just under 5 years before.

Here is something from 1968 that sounds like it could have been said yesterday by BLM:

If we can just stop policemen from using profanity in their encounters with black people, we will have accomplished a lot. In the larger sense, police must cease being occupation troops in the ghetto and start protecting its residents. Yet very few cities have really faced up to this problem and tried to do something about it. It is the most abrasive element in Negro-white relations, but it is the last to be scientifically and objectively appraised.

But, sure, MLK wouldn't support BLM. At least if you took one small part of a speech he gave nearly 60 years ago, the only quote conservatives seem to know from him....

No, they don't. The Burnings, Lootings and Murders sort of happen all by themselves.

Interesting that you ignore the part about MLK. *sight* Can't say I'm shocked.

As I'm sure you probably don't realize, but the actions of a small group of people doesn't represent the ideas and motives of everyone. I mean, you took great exception to the Trucker Convoy being called racists because there were some Nazi and Confederate flags. But I guess we can generalize and say that right-wingers want to overthrown democratically elected governments because they don't like their policies. So, let's call all Trump supporters violent right-wing insurrectionist stooges. Sort of rolls off of the tongue...

because I'm not that interested in hypotheticals. Maybe he would have became a race hustler like Jesse Jackson. Perhaps an antisemitic grifter like Al Sharpton. Maybe...

maybe and maybe not. It's hypothetical at best. What is not hypothetical is that the left has abandoned the blacks in general and offers no legislative support to the communities it overwhelmingly represent. The blacks represent 12% of the population. The Hispanics are above 18% and really growing, both in population, economic power and the political power- and the open borders are only magnifying the problem. In time, the blacks will become like the Canadian Natives- a group to make political hay from, but without any real progress. Oops, judging by the situation in the American black urban centers, we're already there. The BLM are just the latest to exploite this state of affairs.

...But at least disenfranchised blacks living in underprivileged areas can take heart that their appointed leaders are dwelling in multi-million dollar mansions.

there is that. I belive and always have in deeds over words. The BLM and many, many other influence peddlers(not necessarily black) talk a good deal, but actually accomplish nothing except buttering their own toast.

So....you think the GOP does more for the black community? They haven't really done a lot for them since the Civil War. When the parties switch positions on race, it was Democrats who pushed through the civil rights bill against fierce Republican pressure, and basically lost the southern vote for a while. Now, the GOP surpasses the votes of POC including hispanics, because they know the GOP does not have their best interests at heart. While I will say neither party has done enough to help, one does more, and it isn't the GOP.

Finally, you think it is hypothetical at best that MLK would support BLM??? That is....quite a take. He would definitely be with them push for systemic change in policing, because, let's face it, that area needs major reforms.

This is the line of reasoning that keeps the blacks poor: we failed, but what about them? Blacks vote Democrat across the board. Politics is mostly about representing and cultivating your voters. Maybe they should rethink where they park their vote- which is becoming of little importance since the Hispanics are the focus and because in most of the majority black urban centers the RNC has no prayer, therefore no need to expand time and resources. Cold, hard truth. The black voters get exactly what they deserve because they're not politically savvy.
