Bin Laden had been exploited as being too high of a priority and overly significant. That is quite possible ...it is possible he attached a higher priority to this than Bush.
Surely Donald Trump will be wanting to see the Death CertificateObama is going to address the nation momentarily!
I'd check dental records first.
I think that's probably true... will be interesting to see how this plays out as the details come out and the ROW responds.....Bin Laden had been exploited as being too high of a priority and overly significant.
Killing Bin Laden is great but it is basically symbolic and emotional rather than strategically relevant.
Funny to see you switching and equivocating to an obfuscation tack now....Bin Laden had been exploited as being too high of a priority and overly significant.
Killing Bin Laden is great but it is basically symbolic and emotional rather than strategically relevant.
You're right but as the footage is showing Americans needed this. Just from a morale viewpoint.Bin Laden had been exploited as being too high of a priority and overly significant.

Tune in to El Rushbloe's radio rant tomorrow for the formal GOPer response....I think that's probably true... will be interesting to see how this plays out as the details come out and the ROW responds.....

Those who lost their loved ones will get some closure from Bin Laden's demise. I agree that his death is probably not important strategically.Bin Laden had been exploited as being too high of a priority and overly significant.

I totally agree. You're right but as the footage is showing Americans needed this. Just from a morale viewpoint.
Well said, although I would not expect Peckerhead to agree.99.999999% percent of the credit goes to the team that pulled this off. Of the multitude of teams over the multitude of years this has been ongoing, they got the lucky call. These teams have straddled the political lines between Bush/Obama, Rep/Dem, etc.
Obama, Gates, Panetta, Petreus, Vickers, etc have gotten the glory, but the guys who pulled off this very risky job will remain anonymous to the world except amongst their anonymous brothers. Incredible job, will make an incredible movie.
Indeed, Osama demise is important but the network centric secular world is facing splinter religious extremists groups that are inspired by Al-Qaida to wage Jihad, not necessarily taking order from the old guys remaining in the organization. Those who lost their loved ones will get some closure from Bin Laden's demise. I agree that his death is probably not important strategically.
Again as mentioned numerous times, this smell every bit like the Pakistan ISI finally sold him out with a right price. One point i'd like to make. This guy was not found in a hole in the ground like Saddam Hussein was. From everything i have read so far he was living a fairly comfortable life in a compound/mansion.That kind of lifestyle in itself would lead me to believe he was far from a marginalized , symbolic figure within Al Qaeda.
He obviously still had significant resources and leadership pull to A).stay free for so long B).live in a fairly populated area.i myself thought he was long dead. The fact he was not makes me believe he was a valid operative before he was eliminated.
I've worked with some Bosnian Muslims in the past. Didn't strike me as devout when I watched them eat pork and get drunk.Indeed, Osama demise is important but the network centric secular world is facing splinter religious extremists groups that are inspired by Al-Qaida to wage Jihad, not necessarily taking order from the old guys remaining in the organization.
Not going to be surprised in addition to the usual suspects, namely radical Pakistani and Palestinians, the world is going to encounter more radical Islamists who are not necessarily Arabs, say Somalis, even the White Muslims like Bosnian.
IT DID!Well said, although I would not expect Peckerhead to agree.
He seems to think this happened because of Obama.
