Really? I've been a Canadian citizen for 60 years, paid all my taxes, homeowner, employed...but by all means, let Bill Maher tell you all about Canada...tough break for you and Maher I don't have any horror stories and negative experiences to tell about Canada's heath care system. It means that your own limited experience with Canadian healthcare carries very little weight
If you want to hear intelligent home-grown criticism about the ways the government is fucking up Canada just go on TikTok and listen to Ron Butler's almost daily posts. Ron is the owner and head broker of Butler Mortgage, and points out the stupidity of our current government's economic policies, among many other issues that are causing problems in Canada, and especially Ontario.
Also although he sounds quite intelligent when you hear him speak, Jagmeet Singh is to blame for supporting the Liberals even though most Canadians want Trudeau out. Imho Jagmeet is only doing that because he knows he will lose any power he has if he is no longer part of the coalition keeping Trudeau in power, no matter how many promises Justin makes to him, but then either breaks them or delays their fulfilment.

True numbers…I question of the top 15 cities in North America with air pollution that 14 of them are in Canada…no fucking way.Bill was citing hard numbers. It doesn't matter who's saying them. What matters is if they're true.
Your personal experience is only of a single individual. It may be atypical from the average experience.
If you cherry pick a day when Canada was orange with forest fire smoke, you could make that claim.True numbers…I question of the top 15 cities in North America with air pollution that 14 of them are in Canada…no fucking way.
I still doubt it…If you cherry pick a day when Canada was orange with forest fire smoke, you could make that claim.
What exactly is less immigration? There is no framework to anything you are saying either, which also makes it a bad policy.
What is the actual meaning of less?
smaller in
Less refers strictly only to quantity and not to number: there is less water than before. Fewer means smaller in number: there are fewer people than before.
Yeah sure, because anything outside of downtown Toronto doesn't actually exist. If you're brain damaged.
The libs announced a few billion for building homes.
DoFo only wants suburban sprawl, since his developer keepers only want to build sprawl.
Chow will use the cash in the city, but DoFo will try to block fourplexes.
You must absolutely hate Montreal.Yeah sure, because anything outside of downtown Toronto doesn't actually exist.
"I wish my nice residential street had a bunch of fourplexes on it to make it more congested"...said no one ever.
Montreal? You mean the city in decline for the past several years? The city no one wants to move to including companies? That one?You must absolutely hate Montreal.
You are so suburban.Montreal? You mean the city in decline for the past several years? The city no one wants to move to including companies? That one?
Hmmm...I wonder why?
Not quite but by your measure, anyone who doesn't live in the bicycle-centric core of a city should just be ignored and forgotten. You are so suburban.
There are other models for cities than the 1960's suburban sprawl you and DoFo love. Not quite but by your measure, anyone who doesn't live in the bicycle-centric core of a city should just be ignored and forgotten.
Stacked shoeboxes in the sky may appeal to the minority of pinko's on this board but I would guess most other people would choose differently. There are other models for cities than the 1960's suburban sprawl you and DoFo love.
Let me introduce to you the concept of the 'condominium', perhaps you'd like to study how many have been build downtown and how many are under construction.Stacked shoeboxes in the sky may appeal to the minority of pinko's on this board but I would guess most other people would choose differently.
Just for laughs, how would you house the influx of immigrants Trudeau has let in if you wanted to confine them to downtown Toronto?
I'll wait.
Yeah too many.Let me introduce to you the concept of the 'condominium', perhaps you'd like to study how many have been build downtown and how many are under construction.
You better go tell everyone who bought one they're wrong, then.Yeah too many.
Like I said...shoeboxes in the sky causing congestion and crowing making the city too dense.
Given a choice, most people prefer a house over a condo. Any idea why that is?
