Bill Maher On Canada

That was the year of the forest fires.
So for that one year, for the first time ever since the measure has been taken, Canada scored worse.

So it was technically true, but misleadingly framed so that Maher could blame "wokism".

Bill "I'm relevant too" Maher, is a little too late and a little too mainstream to jump on the right wing grift bandwagon.

I think Von posted a debunk video in this thread, that pretty much showed how Maher cherry picked things to complain about.

Maybe but his case was still fairly strong. When he says that going ultra woke offends people sense of normalcy and makes even liberal people vote conservative he is not wrong.

Actually, he offered very little proof of that.
He offered little proof Canada had gone "ultra woke" (especially since that is an empty phrase that doesn't mean anything) and he offered little proof that going "ultra woke" is the reason for the problems he highlighted.

His case was very weak unless you already believed that to be true.

We all should be thanking Bullshit Bill Maher for painting a dire picture of Canada. If people think they should not come because they listened to a talking head then we are a better country for it.
