Why? I already know that some come from the UK and Germany, etc. I am not denying that some immigrants come from "better" countries. However, there is no denying that many come from "worse" countries.

The best way to tell what the nationalities of immigrants is to have a look at the pictures of new Canadians, not some "stats" which can come from anywhere.....

I can see you have no interest in facts or serious debate. I was not referencing any country in particular but are you suggesting that for someone coming to Canada from the middle east, Asia, Africa etc. Canada is not a huge improvement? Isn't that why they are coming to Canada?

The majority of immigrants coming here are skilled, educated, joining family members or to some degree well off/rich.

But don't believe my or your words. I'm encouraging you to post the immigration stats. It will show the top countries immigrants come from and we will see what war they are running from.

Go to your nearest convenience store and ask the owner about where he/she comes from. Some immigrants work very hard here and become successes. And they deserve their success for sure.....

We can't start blocking access because of wealth. That is also discrimination.....

Of course there's a limit. 100 million new Americans would be disruptive.
