Just based on her stories, "The Debaucherous Adventures of Penny" (ie age 19-23 or 24; the 4 or 5 years before she met Leonard) would be far more entertaining than this Young Sheldon show. The trailer without a laugh track is not funny nor particularly interesting.

Sounds like they are going for a Wonder Years vibe. No idea how that will work out.

Another better idea would be one centering on a certain Comic store owner and the characters who hang there.

They can start the geek fest up again.
