The battle in Georgia is just starting. Both Senate seats at issue. Republicans win and they retain a solid Senate majority, Democrats win and the senate is evenly split. Does that mean no senate majority leader? What a pleasant prospect...

My understanding is that the leader of the party with control due to the Vice President would effectively be Majority Leader in terms of having priority to speak and set the agenda.
There may be some obscure rule about that, of course.
