Bidens latest polling numbers are concerning as he is at only 43%. Trump was at 37% at this point. https://www.cnn.com/2022/01/14/politics/biden-approval-rating-polling-memo/index.html
It's not really surprising though.

When the choice was straight up "More Trump or do you want Biden", people obviously chose Biden.
But actually governing is hard and doing it in the current environment is harder and so people are frustrated things aren't getting done.
When it becomes "this person or that person" again, numbers will shift.
But right now in the US I am amazed if any politician can maintain a positive approval rating for any length of time if they are President.

Cinton dipped below 50% in year one and then had a mini-surge for some good economy news so right at this point he was back above 50.
Bush II had the 9/11 attacks happen and shoot his poll numbers up so that's an outlier.
Obama dropped below 50% in year one and started from higher numbers than Biden.
Trump was never over 50%
Biden has dropped below into the low 40s.

It just isn't possible in this kind of political environment to maintain high numbers for very long without something huge giving you a boost.

Biden approval rating beating the worst POTUS in history by only 6%!
His administration is young. I have no idea where it will end up but at the end of his term(s) it will be different, perhaps higher, perhaps lower but different. It will then be reasonable to judge him against the only twice impeached POTUS in history. And at least so far he has not fomented an insurrection and the destruction of the American democracy. By the way as time goes on more is being leaned about the chosen one's misdeeds in office. Now they are looking at his attempts to corruptly alter the census. There will be more.

The GOP stalling dem policies is really campaigning.
Unfortunately it works, stop Biden from doing anything then campaign saying he couldn't do anything.

Boy, you set a very low threshold. Not counting Trump, Biden is the worst president in the last 50 years. Ever worse than Clinton and Bush Jr., which says a lot.

History will be the judge at the end of his presidency. In the meantime employment is at historic highs and wages are increasing, childhood poverty is declining, and there are more accomplishments. An there has been zero corruption or scandal.

even if that was true, isn't it what one should expect when the country is moving towards idiocracy?

The inflation numbers say that wages are not increasing, actually quite the opposite- that's how inflation works. The rest of your post is a joke?

And how is that different when any Republican was in the White House? The opposition's job is to oppose.

That you don't know that speaks volumes.
That you think that you have an answer that differs much from mine, is why I try to avoid wasting time on your posts.

What exactly did Clinton do other than balance the books after years of GOP recession ? He was impeached for a blow job ffs.

Isn't that the standard these days?

The problem with Biden, same with Donato, he's too old for such a high stress job.

President Obama was 48 when he became POTUS, full of vim and vigour. His hair was gray when he handed power to the GOAT President. President Biden is too old to deal with dissent forcefully, Clinton would have crushed Manchin and Sinema. Clinton was something of a micromanager, he also ate like Donato. The only reason he's still with us is where he went to recuperate from heart surgery.

...not far from my birthplace.
