I'm asking what are her policy positions. Do you know yet? If not then you are assuming things that might not be true. Right?

She has proven to be a weather vane in the past.

Why are you so afraid of asking about her? She deserves scrutiny right? The primary process we are told is to vetted candidates. It's been bypassed.

And in her previous run she quit after she was called out on policy and previous actions and nobody, not even in her home state wanted her. Not a good start imo.
It has not been bypassed. NOBODY is wanting to run against her. What would you like them to do. Force a bypass so your ilk can jump on the wagon that the DEMS bypassed a black woman?? Come on man, just admit you are a Trump Cultist and I'll respect that and leave you alone.

Well we do know because Project 2025 has been leaked what Trump's policies will be, so you have me there.

I would say it was bypassed when they covered up his cognitive decline. They have known for at least a year.

This is a classic bait and switch. As a pooner you should recognize that.

I think we can all remember when Democrats would bash Trump's Press Secretary for spinning events and information on a regular basis.

KJP might have been forced to spin the biggest falsehoods in the history of White House Pravda Secretaries. And it just continues.

I think the Democrat's effort to retain/win the White House is not currently served by the WH Press Secretary being coy. I still think coming clean might entail President Biden stepping down.

This is funny, but how many that hang out on the political threads are really pooners.
I think we pretty much all are. It's the anonymity that matters. Regular social media can get you canceled. I'm not on it really anyway.

Squeeze, don't push this so hard.

Do you think Biden vs. Dean Phillips was a competitive battle? Rearranging primary battles to fast forward to South Carolina doesn't look so good in retrospect.

One could say let's have a real democratic contest and allow Newsom, Whitmer, etc. to challenge for the nomination. It's been clear to some of us for a long time that Biden was declining and Democrats had to have an open fight for the nomination.....for their own good.

There are guys like Jalimon who have left a trail of debauchery on the internet and then there are guys who just show up for political advocacy.

(I'm not insulting Jalimon. I consider him a Montreal legend. ;) )

I did a quick perusal of Sanders vs. Trump and Realclearpolitics had Sanders up 4% in April, 2020 with an aggregation of polls. It sounds like a lot until you realize Biden won the election with 4.5% margin nationally.

What's interesting is Biden was polling much higher than 4.5% in October, 2020.

So would have Sanders' April polling margin of 4% shrink on the actual Election Day? Was Sanders really that well-known to voters in the Spring of 2020? I maintain that outside Democratic voters who are very engaged Sanders is not well-known.

So it might be an overstatement to say that Sanders was crushing Trump. In actuality, Biden was "crushing" Trump in polling as late as October and up until Election Day.

In June of 2016, Sanders was up as much as 10.5% over Trump, Clinton was even at best..
Despite Clinton losing the electoral vote, she got 3M more votes than Trump.
Given Sanders' huge lead, who knows where he would have landed.
Sanders would’ve beat Trump in 2016 — just ask Trump pollsters (thehill.com)

JUST IN: An 'orange' President Biden struggles to pronounce his words while reading from a teleprompter in the Oval Office. Biden said he had "save democracy" by letting his own party stage a coup on him. "Those who cherry that cause, cherish it so much. A cause of Americademocritcy itself. We must unite to protect it." “Nothing can come in the way of saving our democracy.”

BREAKING: Trump's campaign has informed media outlets that they will be hearing from Trump's lawyers for violating the Equal Time Rule when they broadcasted Biden's campaign speech tonight "Every single network that televised this campaign speech will be getting follow up letters from our attorneys regarding equal time." -
@LaCivitaC
The equal-time rule specifies that American radio and television broadcast stations must provide equivalent access to competing political candidates Biden was clearly campaigning in his address to the nation tonight

My bad. I reverted to Sanders vs. Biden in 2020.

I guess it's possible that Sanders would have beaten Trump in 2016. That's a lot of conjecture about a moment in time eight years ago. As I noted Biden's big lead in 2020 dissipated on Election Day. Some very close swing state races decided the election.

As far as number of votes nationally, you have to get used to more talk about swing states. Political pundits and pollsters of all stripes are assessing Kamala's relative strength in swing states. I don't doubt Kamala will pile up a huge margin of votes in California.

Psss, Hillary was up on Trump 6% in June 2016. I have to guess people had formed a fairly solid opinion of her over the years. As I mentioned, I don't think a lot of voters outside engaged Democratic voters had formed an opinion of Sanders.
