Just to let you all know who ever plans to go to the prestige must be very careful. They are busting people left and right for prostitution and drugs. Take it from me I know first hand. Last night I wasn't able to work so I booked a friend of mine instead with someone I have already been with. So as I pulled up into the parking lot 2 cop cars with lights were on. I stopped for a minut then pulled out. I figured I rather they follow me somewhere else than question me there. So I went to my house just a few blocks away and in my driveway the put their lights on. They asked me what I was doing there at such a late hour so I told them that I was going to the store but my friend told me that it closes at 12 so no point in staying there. Anyways they questionned me for about 20min then arrested me and my friend myself was for narcotics they said they smelled it in my car. So they searched it but didn't find anything so they were still asking us questions in 2 seperate cars and finally I said even though they said that what ever I say can be used against me I said it was fine. Where are the drugs you say that I had. They said there was none so I told them they have no right to keep me. So they let me go but before they did they said I look like a good girl and that this is a bad area for drugs and other stuff and that they are watching the prestige for all the activity that is going on there. They actually have people working from inside as well. They want to get the customers too not only the girls and the drugs of course. They kept my friend for another half hour and had to let her go too. So I just thought that I would share this with everyone, just to be on the safe side.

I just moved up here from montreal How am I supposto know what parts of town are good or not.
When I saw my house I loved it that's why I got it and I did ask my landlord and neighbours about the area they said it was quiet. Well now I know they were both wrong.

Yes not a very good spot there has also been two murders at this place they were in the paper not that long ago no where in vanier is safe been at this game for a long time and there is NO where in vanier I would go you take your life in your hands when you go there

Tracey be warned you have no rights in Vanier. I have seen police violate peoples rights in Vanier on a daliy basis. They break down doors without warrants, assault suspects and always think that if you are out late at night in Vanier you are up to no good.

I use to do my laundry beside the prestige until I was asked what I was doing there. Me and my friend were outside the store smoking when the cops came to ask us what we were doing. I said what does it look like I am smoking, because in ottawa you can't smoke no where. I even had to show them that I had laundry downstairs because the didn't believe us. I guess I should have been wearing jogging pants instead or tight jeans and tight shirt.
Plus I just realised that most of montreal road has working girls on it. It bugs me because sometimes I walk to the store instead of taking the car and people are always going around asking me how much and shit like that.

if u want cheaper rent and have a car. move u're ass to the gatineau/hull side. u'll have less hassle in the way of pigs. and since u lived in montreal.. i'm to presume you can deal with the french??
