Honestly, if you don't mind the effort and the mess, I highly recommend investing in a deep fryer and making them at home.

Just toss the chicken lightly in flour and throw them in the fryer for 10-12 minutes then toss them in a sauce made from melted butter and Frank's Red Hot sauce, that's it. :)

I used to make them all the time; unfortunately, I made them too often and it has gotten to the point where I no longer crave them like I used to.
I use an air fryer. 400F for around 18 minutes for a dozen thawed wings. No flour but I season them with a Quaker Steak & Lube Seasoning (Essentially a salt & pepper mix) before frying. After frying them I apply the sauce, either Anchor Bar Buffalo Wing sauce I get from Wegmans or Frank’s Red Hot Buffalo Wing sauce (not the regular Frank’s sauce). They are just as good as wings from a restaurant to me.

always been a fan of The Wingery in Oakville on 6th line. It looks like they have a Burlington location (never been) but they’ve got good wings.

also surprised no ones said hooters.Love that whole wing!

Hooters wings are a scrawny ripoff - just like everything else about that eatery.

I tried the Alton Brown method of making wings by baking them instead of deep frying. They came out light and crispy. The sauce is melted butter with Honey Hickory BBQ Sauce and some of this for zing.

I was very happy that El Pres visited my favorite wing spot in Buffalo. The pizza is ok.

I was pretty devastated when I found out The Puck in the Annex had closed down.

I haven't been in years and it was your standard issue sports bar but they had really good wings.

At least we still have Duff's.

Speaking of which, I think that The Big Chill picked an absolutely genius location. After you've had spicy food, milk and dairy is good for cooling things down. And what's better than ice cream?

Sloppy Joes on Lakeshore Blvd west of Kipling are the best I have had. Most of the time they are jumbo which is a bonus.

The Big Chill, did they get permission from Lawrence Kadan (who also wrote Raiders of the Lost Ark) to use that name?
