Best Sushi

Which places have you dined at that contributed to your love of sushi and what sushi or sashimi do you really like the most, which fish?

I've frequented Iruka on Queen's Quay and Katsu on the Danforth. Been to another place downtown that was excellent but I can't remember the name or exactly where it was located. It was very good - might have been one of the places mentioned.

You must check out Hiro Sushi. 171 King St. E They don't spend a lot on leaseholds but Chef Hiro is top shelf. And eating there is a fun experience. There are often Japanese businessmen there and Hiro hires Japanese waitresses who appear to be here to improve their English. I've run into a few of the Rock Star chefs in the City who will go there when they need a sushi fix. Good high quality fun all around. Definitely a step or tow above Katsu but not stupid expensive. And you can make a few raw fish jokes.
