Hey guys/ladies, what's the best seafood restaurant in Toronto? Preferably one that also offers Ahi Tuna. Thanks.
I don't know if you've every worked in a restaurant (and I'm not talking McDonald's), but many things are switched. Polar Ice for Grey Goose, frozen for fresh (if you're like me, you know how this effects certain foods), pre-cooked served as 'fresh off the grill', and even wine (that $30 glass of Amarone from a $7 bottle of Shiraz). I'm sure many know the difference, but in relation to those who don't know, those who know are a very small group.tersey said:When going for seafood, especially sushi, watch for this "bait and switch".

Yes, I think it is call "Fugu". Is it true that if it is not properly prepared, the eater dies a violent painful death? Any place in Toronto that serves this stuff?Berlin said:Fugu ? sure.
A couple times in Osaka.
Sad but true. The reason why there are no more Northern Cod is because of the LLL's campaign to "save the seals" . Seals eat fish!Insidious Von said:Sorry to piss on fish lovers parade folks, but this thread will be a fairy tale in a few years.
I have an opinion on the European ban on seal products (hypocritical fucktards) but it will have to wait until after my Mother's Day duties.Rockslinger said:Sad but true. The reason why there are no more Northern Cod is because of the LLL's campaign to "save the seals" . Seals eat fish!
