Hands down The Rockford Files for me as well.......I really like the less than perfect always down on his luck character and James Garner's portrayal.
About a year ago I downloaded every episode and watched them all and wasn't disappointed.

Matt Houston was only watchable because Pamela Helmsley was Lee Horsleys secretary...what great eye candy...but i enjoyed that show....long since forgotten i think

Definitely Magnum PI for me. I was a bit young to grasp and appreciate it when it first came out but it was always something my dad and I did together.

You haven't lived until you've seen The Rockford Files in Italian! Everyone would break during the afternoon to watch it. James Garner was always popular in Lo Stivale, even though he passed on Sergio Leone's spaghetti westerns.
