East York is a nice place for me.It is about 15 minutes to downtown and the 401/dvp are close by.

The Annex! Room for a back yard close to every thing and older houses that look beautiful.

You forgot the most important thing though. ... TheNiteHwk lives there. <LOL>

Albeit I'm in what I call The South Annex now. So close to Chinatown and UofT.

Over the years have lived in almost every part of TO or GTA there is including Mississauga and always seem to return back to The Annex. Like you say nice older homes w/backyards, close to everything, etc. Close to shopping of all types from Honest Eds to Yorkville, museums, theaters, AGO, dinning, entertainment, bars and clubs etc. And eye candy galore everywhere... for gals and guys. It's all good... The Annex is the place to be!
