There seems to be a lot of sentament towards Max's in Welland, but a concern regarding it's location. If this place is so great, I don't understand the reasoning since it is about a twenty minute ride from the sundowner and anticipation is half the fun. I must admit I had some GREAT times at Max's back in the day of Babies.
That was back in the Golden Era when you could also include the Atlas Hotel and Delilah's Spa in with them two. Now all Welland has left is Max's. Does anyone even bother with Delilah's anymore?

I used to hit max's 1-2 times a week to see one of my ATFs Kory and i loved the place because it was so out of the way {from buffalo} and then of course I'm chatting with a guy in the sauna whom I recognize but he doesn't recognize me as someone who does work for him! The # of people I have run into at the Downer is countless. What is someone going to say? What are you doing here? I don't know , what are YOU doing here? Miss the old days

Far as I understood the owner left the country. Liquidated his Canadian assets and moved.Also hope they reopen soon.....
