Oyster Boy. But it will cost you close to $18. I haven't had it in quite a while but it should consist of 2 pieces hallabit, otherwise fresh cut frites and a coleslaw. Everything is delicious. But the price.....

IMO Penrose is over overated. I think it gets prestige because of the area it is situated.

grew up on fish n chips from Penrose…love it. Definitely one of the best, been there forever.

Don't remember the exact name of this place but I was there once and never again. The quality is poor. The fish is over battered, and the fries are your run of the mill frozen stuff. The only good thing about this place is the price.

The last Fish & Chips thread showed a a strong following for British Style, on Dundas just east of Coxwell across from the cop shop. Lousy parking, great food.

Henry's is better then heritage, but Henry's only has one location in Brampton.

In Toronto, at the south end of St Lawraence Market, I think it's called "buster's sea cove". I usually have their clams, but everything I've had from them has been execlent.

+1

Heritage has several locations but all in and around Brampton as far as I know. There is also a Henry's Fish and Chips, also in Brampton.

Off The Hook... on Broadview just below the Danforth. Great fish and great prices.
Also great for anyone with a gluten allergy! Have a separate fryer for it. I actually prefer the gluten free fries to regular ones.
