Stuff from Red Hot Chilli Peppers. Works well when you have the sunroof open, windows down and driving down a major street like Yonge at 80 or 100 KM/H ... hehe

I'll probably repeat some of the songs already mentioned but myself I have specific songs for parts of the city and the type of road I'm driving on. For Instance;

On the way to work to get a little inspiration I play Since you've been gone by Kelly Clarkson

Visiting customers in a bad part of town I always have Still Tippin On Four Fours but Mike Jones and Slim Thug or Game OVer by lil flip. This seems to get me a lot of play from the sistas

On the way to the gym its a mixed bag. If its squat day than nothing makes my blood angrier in the car than Just one Fix by ministry or Walk by Pantera. Deadlift day is all about Godsmack's "I stand Alone" and Bench day is Pantera Remake of Ted Nugents Cat Scratch Fever.

In the car with a special lady it's all about Stan Getz and Jao Gilberto's Bosa Nova Classics intermixed with Beastie Boys all instrumental acid funk album I just found.

On the way to the cottage its definitely Kick Start My Heart as mentioned before and the greatest driving song of all times Panama by Halen.

Now cruising through Yorkville to oggle women Van Halen's Drop Dead Legs has every woman thinking the song is for them.

PS working downtown is torture. The last few sunny days have brought the tail out in historic proportions.

..I didn't agree with all of them (your taste run a bit more "classic rock" than mine do), but I thought the eclectic mix was way kewl...

I didn't get through the entire thread, but one song that I didn't see is a favorite of mine that I haven't heard in years, and I don't even remember the name of. I do remember the name of the one hit wonder band though...."Box Of Frogs". Believe it our not, with such a wacky name they were actually something of an all star band, with my all time favorite guitarist Jeff Beck as the biggest name....

...ok, a bit of research on Goggle revealed that the name of the song in question was / is "Back Where I Started"...great driving song...greatest of all time...unless you've heard it / remember it, you just couldn't understand...

"My foot is down....right to the floor......I'm heading for....that open door....I'm gonna go back....to where I started from..."

Man...that brings back memories of driving really, really fast with no place to go and a lot on my mind...

A few good choices- Highway Star, Radar Love, Rock And Roll by Zeppelin. I'd add Jeff Beck's "Goin' Down", his guitar work sounds like a fine racing machine with all the shifting through gears. You can tell his music is inspired by cars, he has a great collection of them.
