Anybody knows which restaurants are the best in downtown London,ON ?

Guidance is appreciated.

There is a restaurant that is by the Thames... called "XXX on the Thames". Supposeedly the best there.

(Can't remember the XXX portion)

Downtown London is about two streets. I agree with the other person - it's a horrid place, the whitest and dullest city ever.

Restaurant wise decent places (not all downtown):
Black Trumpet
Blue Ginger
Michael's on the Thames (as mentioned before)
Garlics

There once was a place there, roadhouse type food, where their gimmick was that the waitstaff abused you throughout your stay there.....

Perfect for Maryland, except I cannot for the life of me remember the name.

The dining room at the Delta Armouries is quite good.

As far as other types of dining:

There's an outcall service that quite reliable and inexpensive. Compared to Toronto rates, you'll save about $100/hour. Tory and friend are worth a visit. I've seen good reviews of Justin Stephenson

The tasting room is a really nice restaurant with quite the extensive wine list

Black trumpet is delicious as well.
