I use betway and Proline Plus. Both are okay I guess.
I'm going to give DraftKings Sportsbook a try since I can no longer play DFS.
I'm not sure what the legal holdup is to allow Ontario bettors to play DFS. Just before the Sunday NFL games, get a colleague/or friend, that lives outside of Ontario to login to your DK account and enter your teams for you . . .

The sportsbooks were complaining that FD and DK had an unfair advantage because they were already in the market for fantasy sports. To level the playing field, DoFo agreed to remove fantasy sports betting for some period of time. I would bet that there was also some agreement that FD and DK would delay their launch because of their existing presence in the Ontario market.

I notice there's one about every week or so, the other day I got Golden State plus 65 points vs the Mavs. Helps buffer the losses. Draft Kings has 2:1 odds for an NHL goal, but it's only for new customers ( one time only , on the TV ads they make it like it's available every game ) .

Had Scottie Scheffler outright on DK Ontario at + 900 on a profit boost promo. Can you believe I lost in a playoff ? Only bright spot of the weekend is that I picked Nick Taylor to lead after Round 1 at 150:1 odds on a Fan Duel promo. Had a SGP on DK for a fun $ 5.00 pays $ 7,500, too bad Tucker, Strus and Horford decided to coast in game 7. Anyone have any hit and misses on the weekend ?

Thank you for sharing useful sites! I have been looking for a decent betting platform for a long time. I am quite a meticulous person, so the site must be suitable for several points; otherwise, I will not place bets on it. I like to keep up to date with the latest developments in the world of sports betting. I recently read about the pay per head sportsbook system, which allows site owners to better monitor payments. Some friends even advise me to open my own business in this area, but I'm not sure I can handle such a responsibility.

Of my top 3, I like Draft Kings , Fan Duel and Bet365. Yesterday Draft Kings had bet $ 1.00 on a Blue Jays 3 leg parlay and get back $ 100 free bet. Also with all the action going on in the NBA / MLB and golf this weekend, they emailed me like 10 promos or bet payout bumps. There's a few weeks of action left before the exciting NFL.

DFS is a pool-based bet, meaning you are competing with players outside of Ontario. It will make it impossible for the book and government to determine the taxes to be applied against the book for the bets. DFS will only be allowed in Ontario if all of the players place their bets in province, allowing Queen's Park to collect their share. Very low probability.

Pay per head means you are using a third party's system to accept bets, becoming a book funded by you. They take a cut of all bets regardless of outcome of the event/game. Not sure how much involvement one has on setting the lines and odds. But in the end if you open a site, the liability of the bet sits with you. Sharp bettors will feast on slow moving lined and mispriced games.

You make open an account, tell your friends about it and hope to win on the vig. However if an account it turned over to a pro, you are exposed.

Unless you have deep pockets and ok with the variance, PPH may not be right for you.

Draft Kings Ontario NHL promo for the day ( no brainer , lock ). Since all of the sites are trying to promote parlays since they are the worst bet for bettors , since 1 or more legs always kill the bet. Today's promo is "Bump Up The Bet" Edmonton Oilers pre-packaged parlay : EDM M/Line + and MacDavid to have at least one shot on net tonight, min $ 5.00 bet which gets you a potential Free Bet of $ 50 - $ 100 max . The kicker is , even if you lose the parlay, you still get the Free Bet ( only condition is that you use it up within 1 week). Last week's Blue Jays promo Free Bet was credited to my account within 24 hours. Good Luck all and Go Oilers Go !

Interesting. If you are playing on an Ontario approved site and players on limited to Ontario, then it supports my statement. If it is an approved site and players are outside of the province, I can't explain it.

But lack of DFS is due to what I stated. The province wants its cut.

Here is the list of registered and approved Operators in Ontario: https://igamingontario.ca/en/operator/operators

Most of those gaming website are offering decent promos, check it out. I bet mainly on soccer and I took advantage of the promos offered by Bet365($250), Sportsbook(4 * $50) and BetMGM($50 per friend referrals; up to 20)

The province could have ring-fenced DFS and taken their cut. There's more to it than that.

Patiently waiting for the province to okay DFS. Some of those pots are amazing, just for let's say a $ 10 entry fee. Was going to be my cheap entertainment during
the NFL/NBA season.

If there is more to it, please explain? Size of the prize must be worth their while to create an Ontario only DFS offering. Factor in the cut for the government, limited potential entry pool and prize money ,it may not make economic sense.

Books can offer different games and odds. I don't think igaming cares if DF or DK have a head start on DFS. The road to legalization was long. Competitors knew who where entering the market and gaps between offerings. Mgm, bet365 and others could have created their own version of dfs.

Books in the US can only take non-dfs action from within the operators state; however DFS is statewide. GTaking action from outside of one state is a federal offense, for the book and bettor, based on the wire act. Not sure if with a vpn, one can still run an account south of the border. Give it a shot.

Too bad they have it capped at $ 50 ! On Draft Kings they have "Bump the Bet" ( prob average $ 20 to $ 100 max ) to promote more parlay bets ( that's where they make a lot of $$ off dumb players like me betting parlays. I just like the challenge. )

14 million+ people in Ontario. Only four US states are bigger. I wouldn't call that a limited potential entry pool. If DraftKings could run DFS in Ontario, they would do it in a heartbeat.

FD continues to operate DFS in all other provinces. DFS is allowed in Ontario by paying the licencing fee and 25% of the books cut to the province with province inclusive pools. Nothing is preventing FD or DK from operating DFS. If either book determined it would be worth it, it would be available.
