Am curious whether Belleville still has a club? I remember one years ago called Cabaret but I understand that the city bought it and tore it down. Thanks.

Go Go still exists as a building but it hasnt opened up yet since Covid began. They kept promising to open in the spring but it hasn't happened.
They have re-opened! Haven't been in yet but just thought I'd update this thread.
Was this the club across the road from the Via rail station? I spent an evening there once with some work colleagues when we were there for some business meetings. It was a bit wild. Remember a dancer called Bandicoot. LOL
You may be thinking of the other one that was close to downtown, right down at the foot of Front St where it meets Highway 2. I forgot the name, but it's been closed for quite a few years now
GoGo is further up on North Front, across from where all the hotels are (good for staggering back to the hotel!)
That reminds me, one time about 15 years ago I was at that other club in Belleville. Met a dancer, fairly slim and attractive, probably about 30 yo.
She was a little bit wacko and proceeded to talk my ear off, very loudly, all night long, telling me her entire life story. Then she asked me to give her a lift home. I said OK, turns out she lived out in the country near Trenton. In the middle of nowhere, pitch black road, she suddenly told me to stop, she is getting out here. I said OK see ya later
I actually did see her again one more time at the Playmate in Ottawa, she was too wacked for me to talk to...
If you're really thinking of one across from the train station, you might be thinking of Docter's Hotel. But that's going back to ... maybe the 90s?
Yeah... I remember people calling it Docs. But this was in the early 2000's. Went by there twice. Once with some work colleagues and then one other time our boss had heard of our earlier experience. We were waiting in the Via station for our train back to Ottawa and he had to see for himself so walked across the road. He came back in about 5 mins shaking his head and questioning our choices. LOL.
I really miss that place. Great VIP setup, graet bartenders, some real gems, relaxed atomsphere.
Finally made a return visit to Go go after a few years and was pleased with it. A small town club, friendly enough, busy on a weekend night but not packed. About a dozen girls, mostly solid 7s and 8s with the occasional 6 and 9 for good luck. Didn't get to dance her but Jasmine has a geeky look and a fabulous body, Lulu's still there after all these years and lots of other talent.
Visited again and like this place, relaxed, no high pressure (and no high mileage AFAIK). Some great girls and lots of girls come in as customers.
Been there a couple times over the past months. Lulu is the hottest one I've seen. $5 cover on the weekends, and the bottoms stay on in the vip. no extras. beware of lyric. she was fishy and a scammer. thought i was drunk (only had one drink) and after a dance she tried to soak me for way more. I called her on it and she backed down. you've been warned. Kendra was sweet and nice.
Canada isn't as secure as it used to be...
In the past years all stripclubs and most if not all night clubs in the market have had issues with violence.
Hell the Tease, had a customer get in his Truck and smash another patrons veicle because... well because he was a dumbass...
It's always smart to be poliete and curtious, the Celts had the rule because they weren't sure if the stranger was a god, we should because we don't know what jerk you may be talking to.
