I had a FWB just a few years ago, who I had been seeing for a few months already when one night she started saying fuck me daddy in the middle of activities. I was kind of dumbstruck by it. I thought I should be turned by a horny girl saying that to me, but I just found it distracting.

She liked exploring kinks and trying new things, but didn't continue this in subsequent encounters. Could have been my lack of response to it though that curtailed it for her.

I've often found myself yelling out "who's your daddy?" while banging my wife and then end up laughing uncontrollably for the rest of the time. Sometimes sex just needs to be more fun and if cracking a laugh during it does that, then I don't really care.

I didn't bastardize anything..I didn't want anyone to call ME sue!
Take it in context dude
It was a comedic reference!!
Sorry, maybe I shouldn't have said bastardized but I'm a bit of a purist. The line goes, "... any DAMN thing but Sue." You forgot the damn part, which is what I was referencing.

A friend sent me a screenshot of a tinder profile and the bio said something along the lines of “Please don’t call me daddy, my 3 year old calls me that”

That made me ask myself, do men even like being called daddy? (daddy or papi)

If not, what do you liked to be called?

Ladies, do you like being called mami? If not, what do you prefer?

Personally I don’t like being called mami because in French that’s a grandma. I like being called Lena (boring), good girl (so original) and other names if I’ve given you the permission.
I would be thrown off by someone calling me daddy out of the blue.
As an actual specific thing in a scene in bed where we've already been playing with that dynamic/role? Sure. It can be hot.

"Sir" always works for something similar and I think people is safer with a wider group of people.

I knew one girl who used "Uncle" outside of bed as kind of playfully working in the same space as "Daddy" but she didn't actually like using "daddy". (She didn't do it in bed.)

"Daddy" is a Gen Z term and I've seen OF's videos where 22 year old girls call their 25 year old guys "daddy". Being older, it doesn't resonate with me, but I don't mind it if the girl likes it.
That's a good point.
"Daddy" as a specific term for a type of sexual relationship (and not even limited to being men, I've noticed) is something that's become part of the lexicon in that group.
It may stick, it may not.
But you see it more in a general sense now.

Again - if I knew that it was being pitched at me in that kind of specific context, I'd be fine with it. (But that tends to not be limited to in bed/while having sex.)

If you have someone who likes exploring kinks and trying new things, but is also aware and respectful enough to not keep pushing something you don't respond to or enjoy, then that's a keeper.

I didn't think I would have a problem with it, until it happened during sex out of the blue not during dirty talk, threw me quite a curve ball. She picked up on my uncomfort right away and went a different route.

Good for her for picking up on it and adjusting.
"Spontaneous" can be good, but you have to expect that you can't always guess right in those situations.

Agree with sentiments about over the top acting. Does less than nothing for me. It’s a turn off, and turn away thing.

Define taboo.
Most people will associate that word, with forbidden acts, or things that make them uncomfortable.

For the longest time, premarital sex was taboo. As was watching porn, buying/using toys, as is bondage. Which didn’t gain a modicum of socially acceptable behavior or interest until 50 shades. Then guys started paying attention.

most here, probably get uncomfortable talking about sex, ( see threads on being comfortable talking to partners about likes/dislikes/fantasies). Probably don’t or can’t talk to their own children about sex, toys, kink and the very many flavors. It’s “taboo”

“Daddy”
May be about submissiveness, but the connotation is unmistakable.

Personally, would do less than nothing for me. While not offended, neither wanted or welcome.

La la land
Daddy, I see it also that you provide for her - Money or a life - income , or house if wife.
Uncle, is used in East Asia as respect to older men when young people need help. ( both genders). Also you provide help, money or service.

Role play I guess it could work. But my Q is where did originate? Porn? and stuck with us since then?

Red House over yonder.
I think that role play is too weird. It could cause Vice Prezident Johnson to shrink to the size of a pencil.
