So, Toronto might as well give up on spending the time, effort and money to host the 2024 Summer games.

It is obvious who they will be awarded to; "Yakutsk" Russia, it is located between Siberia and Kamchatka and is known as the "coldest city in the world", another perfect host for the 2024 Olympic Summer games.

And, also for those of you who are suspicious of another pay off by Beijing to the Olympic committee to host the 2022 Olympic WINTER games, don't start making any accusations of anyone person or organization of being "corrupt". :Eek::Eek:

There is no such thing as 2026 summer games. 2024, 2028, 2032, 2036 summer games and so on. Actually after 3 consecutive Olympics in East Asia, it may be a good time for Toronto to bid for 2024 or 2028 Summer games, good chance IOC wants to come out west (North America).

I don't know about for the Winter Games but some years ago it was proposed that the Summer Games be permanently held in Greece and as we all know that went nowhere.
