Is there a best before date for beer? If yes, where do you find it on the bottle or can? I found a bottle of Heineken but can't find the BBD.

Found this unopened bottle (still capped) behind some furniture. Don't know how long its been there or when the it was purchased. Showed it to a couple of employees at the Beer Store. They didn't know its BBD.Beer store and LCBO can not sell beer 1 year after its bottled or canned date which should be on the bottle.

Speaking of beer... A dancer once told me her customer in the vip ordered a Corona and told her to ride the full bottle for a bit, then left it on the table. Apparently the next guy who sat in that booth started drinking it. lolI once left an open bottle of beer under the table at the late beloved CB. When I returned the next day, it was still there.
If it smells bad, make a slug trap...Open it, if it smells/tastes bad, don't drink it. It's as simple as that. It' not like it will make you sick if it's past the BBD.

I used to drink Sleeman Ale back in the 90s. They were in clear bottles and I'd often get a skunky one. Now I like MGD in the clear bottle, which is brewed in the US. I've never had a skunky MGD.Better to choose those that are in a can or dark bottle to minimize spoilage
